Four Months Later :
It's been about four months since the day Mountain came to return your journal but ended up staying and watching you paint. He actually ended up falling asleep on the couch, and when he awoke the next day his defense was simple. "What, your couch was comfy and it was relaxing watching you paint."
After that, he would come over to your room most nights just to watch you paint and sketch, even if it was just something random. You felt it was safe to say that you were closest with him, in a best friend type of way obviously. But if you were being honest, you found yourself thinking about him a little too often to just be thinking of him as a friend. But you didn't want to act on anything because you didn't want to risk messing up the bond that you two have.
All you can say about the time that has passed is that it was incredibly fun. You've become so close with all the ghouls and ghoulettes, they're easily like family to you and you can tell why people enjoy watching them perform on stage.
Speaking of stages and performing, you're currently on your way back from Sister Imperator's office. Wanting to share the exciting news with the rest of the band, you lengthen your strides to take longer steps. Practically running down the basement stairs, you can only hope that everyone is either in the band room or lounge area.
Luck seeming to be on your side today as your hopes came true, and you were relieved to see all eight ghouls sitting in the lounging area. Though you were gaining some confused glances from them, as you were a little out of breath from your small run.
Finally breaking the silence, you perked up and spoke excitingly to the group watching for their reactions to the news. "I come with news, good news at that." Taking another pause to finish regaining your breath, you carry on. "We're going on tour in three weeks."
At that everyone busted out cheering. Once they calmed down a bit, you vaguely explained the general route that the tour was going to go on. "First stop is France, then we'll be going throughout the UK for other all the other places, and then we're off to do the rest of the tour in the states."
After you were done explaining what you needed to say, you could easily tell everyone was stoked about the news. Cirrus and Cumulus both sat up from their spots on the couch after whispering to each other. Which is when Cirrus spoke, "Well, since we now know of this amazing news, what does everyone think about a game night to celebrate? We can do it tomorrow since it'll be Saturday."
Comments of agreement traveled around the room as you went to take the open seat next to Mountain on the couch that he was currently sat on.
Speaking softly as to not disturb the others' conversations, Mountain shifted over a bit to make more room for you. "You okay? You look exhausted."
Letting out a small sigh, leaning your head on his shoulder, and closing your eyes as you reply. "Yeah, I've just been super busy with planning the things for the tour. I don't want to let anyone down or mess something up."
Humming in response, he brought his hand up to massage the side of your head that was facing up. "Well you're doing a damn good job Ness." Smiling a bit at the use of the nickname. You hum back, slightly falling asleep from how nice his hands feel as they were now running through your hair.
A Couple Hours Later :
Stirring awake, you realize you're being carried by someone. Not wanting to risk them dropping you on the floor, you still your movements. Having no clue as to where you're being taken, you decide to do what? Absolutely nothing. Not long after slightly waking up, the person carrying you opens a door.
Giving up in your care for where you are being abducted to, you decide to count your losses and go back to sleep. To which you do successfully, until you're placed on a bed. A bed that is not yours, you come to realize from the fact that you were covered up by a blanket which was not fuzzy. Mental note, get this person a fuzzy blanket, guarantee they will thank you later, really a game changer.
Rolling over onto your side, you open your eyes the slightest. "Yeesh, at least take me to dinner first before trying to get me into bed." Noticing you stunned the person who carried you here, you start laughing. Trying your hardest to not, but failing miserably.
"Wha- no no no, I wouldn't, I mean if it's what you wanted, no I wouldn't do that. Ness shut up, go back to sleep." Standing there blushing, looking as if he got badly sunburned on a beach trip, was a stuttering Mountain.
His reply only sending you into another fit of giggles. "Calm down Monny, I know you wouldn't." Giving you a relieved look and a tiny smile, Mountain sat down on the floor next to the bed. "Bubs? What are you doin? Why are you on the floor?" You asked, leaning over with your head on the edge so you were face level with the ghoul who was currently sat on the floor.
"Hm? You're in the bed, so I'm on the floor."
"Yes, I can see that, but why are you on the floor?"
"...Because you're on the bed?"
It was silent for a minute, neither of you speaking. Just staring at each other, both confused as to why the other was doing whatever.
Sliding out of the bed, you plopped down to sit next to the tall Earth ghoul. Whom of which gave you a questioning glance. "What? Can I not sit here?"
"No, well I mean yeah you can, but why not sit in the bed?" The Earth ghoul had then quizzed.
"Simple, because you're down here." You replied easily. "If you were up on the bed I'd sit up there, but you're down here."
Deciding he didn't want to sit on the floor anymore, Mountain picked you up and placed you on the bed, taking a seat next to you. "Well I guess we're both up here now."
Chuckling while giving a reply, "I guess so."
The two of you sat talking about anything and everything for the next hour or so. Well until you fell asleep. Looking down at you, laying with your head on a pillow in his lap, he couldn't help but smile as he moved a piece of your hair out of your face.
All he could think about was how incredibly lucky he was to have you in his life, and how he wishes he never does anything to screw it up. Having you was perfect, whether it be as a friend or something more. Although he would only admit to himself that he wouldn't mind being something more than friends. He simply didn't want to risk losing you or your presence.
Becoming tired and feeling his eyes start to close, the tall ghoul carefully moved the pillow your head was rested on out of his lap and back onto the bed. Slowly climbing off the queen sized mattress, he grabbed a pillow and blanket from the opposite side you were on. Dropping both items to the floor before pulling the blanket that was covering you up so it met your chin rather than your hips.
Seeming satisfied with how cozy you looked, he laid down and spread out on the floor to sleep. And within a matter of only minutes, he was passed out sleeping as soundly as you.

A/N - Here is Tuesday's update, I might publish the next chapter later today as well. It all depends if I end up writing more, because I still want to have an update for Thursday as well. But we've got another decently long chapter, I will say the next part defiantly isn't going to be as big. Since it's just a little follow up of what happens from this one. Anyhow, hope you're all enjoying, remember to vote and comment to help support! <3
