The past two weeks have been incredibly hectic as everyone was busy preparing for the upcoming tour. Only having a week left of a month's notice, you couldn't really blame them. It was becoming a tad bit stressful for people, especially those in the band.
Though during the past two weeks you and Mountain have grown closer to one another, even continuing in playing the drums together along with him watching you paint in your room. On the topic of rooms, the two of you haven't spent a night alone on your own. It's always the two of you sleeping in either of your rooms, you both even slept in the lounge area of the band room once after staying up too late reading on the couch.
"Neeessssss" That was the first thing anyone said to you all morning, as you just woke up from sleeping in late. This being said because you stole the cup containing some, really good, coffee that Mountain was holding. "Fine, I'll make another one." He sighed as he walked back over to the door that led to the small kitchen area, which was attached off the side of the lounge room.
Following the tall ghoul into the kitchen, you jumped to sit up on the counter. Shivering a bit when you realize just how cold the granite top was. You currently only have on a black pair of bed shorts and a matching tank top, along with Mountain's zip up coat that he gave you a while ago.
Zoning in and out of reality, you didn't notice Mountain speaking to you or when he walked to stand in front of you. You only finally snapped out of it when the ghoul wrapped his arms around your waist on the inside of the coat you were wearing. "Something's wrong. You took the coffee but didn't even take a sip yet, and you're zoning out more often." Resting your forehead on the tall ghouls shoulder when he finished speaking, and letting out a tired sigh.
Somehow finding your willpower to talk, you reply with a somewhat scratchy voice. "Something's not right...I don't know what, but it's like I can feel it. I just can't figure out what it is."
Raking his fingers through your hair as you clutch your coffee mug tighter, Mountain spoke in his usual quiet voice. "It's probably just the stress of the tour getting to you, love. We don't have to do anything today anyways, Copia said we deserve a day off after how packed our schedules have been. We could go on a walk to the pond, or we can paint something, how does that sound hm?"
Smiling for the first time this morning, "You mean I could paint something, while you just watch me. But I think I'd like going on a walk, I haven't been to the pond in forever." You think back, the smile not leaving your face for a moment.
"Well on a walk to the pond we go." Both your coffees being long forgotten as Mountain picked you up from the countertop, letting out a noise that was between a shriek and a laugh you quickly wrapped your legs around his torso to not fall. Laughing with you, he continued his steps and carried you to your room to change.
Getting to your destination, you go inside and just grab a random pair of pants deciding that Mountain's hoodie and the black top are fine. So after you changed out of your shorts and into a pair of ripped dark gray jeans, you grabbed your phone off the bathroom counter and stepped out into your room.
Having your attention focused on your phone, you didn't notice Mountain sitting on your bed just staring at you awestruck at how truly beautiful you are to him. "Shall we get goin now, Bubs?" You ask, gaining the other ghouls attention looking up as he's straightening out from sitting on the bed.
"We shall, m'lady, we shall" And with that, the two of you set out the door.

A/N - This was originally supposed to be a slightly longer chapter, only reaching about 800 words. But I decided that it would be easier on myself if I split it into two parts. Plus you guys get more content out of it, since half of this chapter wasn't going to even make it into the final post.
