"You've reached Si-" Huffing out a very annoyed sigh at the line that you've now heard about ten times, you end the call before the voicemail can continue on. Shoving it in your bag, not caring if it gets scratched up from clanging around.

You hesitate when you see the lone cigarette laying at the bottom next to a lighter, egging you to light it and take even just a single drag. Getting more agitated than you were before, you pluck it up and in between your fingers; only to then violently toss, or more so throw, it into the trash can you were standing next to.

"Piece of shit." Mumbling to yourself as you walk back into the room you exited about half an hour ago.

All the sounds that were once echoing throughout the room, were now completely dead. Someone farther into said room cleared their throat, causing your attention to snap to everyone. Whom of which, are looking at you as if you've just asked if you could roast them on an open fire to feed a starved village. With absolute unfiltered fear.

The silence not sitting right, bothering you, making you uncomfortable. Clearing your throat as well, you speak up. "I'm going to be stepping out for the night. I've arranged for you all to go out and eat at a restaurant, a fancy one, so please wear something nice." Taking a moment to let what you said sink in, making sure they all heard before carrying on. "I've also gotten you guys two cars, both should be arriving around at nine to take you; and will be waiting until you're ready to come back. Dinner is reserved, so please be on time. The bill will be sent to the Church, so go crazy I guess."

Breathing back in all the air you've just let out while speaking, you look at the shocked faces of the others. You can already tell that anytime now, they'll start asking their questions.

To which you are exactly right, the first to speak up being Dew. "Wait a minute, where are we going?"

"Why are we going without you?" Rain was the next to ask.

They all kept talking, their voices overlapping one another. The one that made everything silent again, was the only one that was asked by a quiet Mountain. "Where are you going, Ness?"

Sucking in yet another baited breath, you kissed the back of your teeth. Turning you gaze down to your shoes, looking at them as if they were the most interesting things in the world; you muttered out your answer.

"Back to the Church." And at that, all hell broke loose.
