Sarah wakes up early the next morning, with a smile on her face. Not wanting to go back to sleep, she turns over and lays her head back on the pillow watching Abby sleep all the while her phone on the nightstand continues to light up and buzz.
Noticing Abby's fluttering eyes, she smiles and watches as the blonde opens her eyes. Leaning over and kissing her lips.
"Morning, beautiful."
Abby smiles. "Morning."
"How'd you sleep?"
"So, well; even though someone is a bed and cover hog!"
"Am not!"
Abby cocks her eyebrow and smiles, "Yeah, you are. I thought that I was going to end up on the floor at one-point last night."
"I guess I've gotten pretty used to having the bed to myself."
"Yeah, well as long as I'm here you better stay on your side or else!"
"Or else, what?" Sarah looks at her challengingly as she asks the question.
"I'll relocate to the other bedroom."
"Empty threat, especially after last night."
Abby smiles. "Maybe, maybe not."
"If I promise to try and be more considerate and share my space, will you stay?"
Abby chuckles, "First and last chance, superstar. Your phone's been buzzing up a storm for the last few hours; you planning on looking at it anytime soon?"
"I don't really want too. It's no doubt the label or my agent with something that needs immediate attention and I'm enjoying our little bubble and not ready to return to reality quite yet. I need to know that you're doing okay with everything that happened between us last night. Are you?"
Abby smiles and reaches for Sarah's face as she moves some hair away and tucks it behind her ear. "I am, better than okay. I have no regrets and I appreciate your concern for my well being."
"I know I was a little over the top last night and this morning, but you're like an addiction; now, that I've had you, I just can't get enough!"
Abby chuckles. "You're going to have to spill your secrets and techniques, so that I can use them on you in the future."
Sarah smiles. "It will all come in due time, Abs; for now, don't get in your head about it or us. Everything is new, we're new and it's going to take time for both of us to learn what we like or don't like and what we need in order for each experience to be as pleasurable as possible."
Abby turns over when her phone starts buzzing and seeing Tanner's name on the screen answers it.
"Hello?"
"Tell your girl to answer her damn phone and put on TMZ."
"Yep."
Abby looks at Sarah. "Tanner wants you to put on TMZ."
"Where's the remote?"
"Beside you on the night stand."
Abby hangs up from the call while Sarah collects the remote and switches to an entertainment channel, where the headline suggests that Selena Dagger and Scruffy D have called it quits and already moved on after being spotted at Splash a few nights previous eating at separate tables.
"FUCK!!!"
"What's wrong with that? It's the truth and I thought you wanted everything to be in the open."
Sarah looks at her, "It's not as easy as that Abs. The label wanted us continue giving off the impression that we were still a couple until after the Jingle Ball performance. It's never good when one of the marquee performers and or groups has drama attached to them. I have a feeling if I go through the messages that Tanner has sent and left that I'm going to be required to attend a meeting today at the label. I'm sorry for ruining our day, Babe."
