Despite having only fallen asleep a few hours previous, Sarah lays and smiles as she watches Abby sleep. Looking at the band on her hand, she's still absorbing the fact that she's married to the gorgeous woman in bed with her.

"Are you watching me sleep?"

Sarah chuckles, "How'd you know?"

"Because, I woke up earlier and did the same thing." Abby opens her eyes and looks at Sarah smiling. "Morning, superstar."

"That's superstar wifey, now."

Abby chuckles. "Still not used to that."

"I know, me neither."

"I can tell you that I definitely won't be forgetting last night any time soon."

"Or this morning?"

Abby chuckles, "Or this morning. You've been holding out on me."

Sarah laughs. "Not so much holding out as trying to respect that a lot of this is still relatively new to you."

"Does that concern you? Like are you thinking that I may one day decide that I want to go back to men?"

"How could I not be concerned? I mean, I've always known that I was attracted to both men and women whereas you've only recently allowed yourself to experience some lady loving." Sarah smiles as she says the last part in hopes of breaking the awkwardness of the moment.

"That's fair and accurate, however, there's an intangible that you aren't taking into consideration in your rationale."

"And what's that?"

"Not a what; a who, as in you. You brought to the fore front thoughts, feelings, and emotions that deep down I always had but chose not to act upon because? Well, mostly because I've seen people around me struggle with their sexuality in society and I was always concerned as to how my family would view me if I wasn't heterosexual. Finding and falling in love with you opened a door that was always there, but, until I met you, I didn't have the right key to unlock it. I've never been happier than I am when I'm with you and I don't doubt my feelings for you are real and what we have together is most definitely real and beautiful. I love you; Sarah Alison Miller Davis Dahlkemper and I can't wait for the day we longer have to hide our love."

Sarah smiles. "You know we still have a bit of time before we need to meet the fam for brunch ..."

Abby attaches her lips to Sarah's and smiles, "Way ahead of you. We should take it to the shower soon though."

Sarah chuckles. "But not yet."

As Sarah and Abby lock eyes, neither says a word, their smiles do the talking before they consummate their love and marriage once more. Abby lays on Sarah's chest and listens to her heartbeat as Sarah plays with her hair.

"Whatcha thinking about beautiful?"

Abby lets out a sigh, "Just that very soon this blissful bubble of ours is going to be popped and we're going to need to fly back to California and face reality."

"Why don't you stay here a few days longer? You can visit with your friends and get started on painting the bedroom. I know my Mom would love some company and I need to get back and be interviewed by whatever agency it is that's asking, and I can't exactly have you at my side or holding my hand for that."

"I want to be there for you; I know their questions are going to take a toll on you mentally and physically and as your wife, I should be there to support you."

"Tanner is going to be with me and my lawyer, I haven't done anything wrong, so I'm hoping to be in and out in short fashion and then perhaps book some studio time to record a song that I've been working on. In all likelihood, I won't be home much and I really don't like the idea of you sitting in my apartment all by yourself."
