As Sarah plays around with some chords, Abby comes in to the room and sits down beside her.

"It's official; Sammy is headed to England to play for Manchester City. Rose is in negotiations with them and I've made it known that I'm interested in making a change."

Sarah sets down her guitar and turns towards Abby, "When will you know anything?"

"Unfortunately, it may not happen this window as it sounds as though the Courage are playing hardball, not wanting to lose two players overseas; might have to wait until the January window. In the meantime, you're still going to be my training buddy, so keep the Nike's handy, Babe."

Sarah chuckles.

"Whatcha working on?"

"Just playing around more than anything; going stir crazy, not being able to sing or perform for anyone other than you and Mom. I was thinking of perhaps hosting a concert."

"In the living room?"

Sarah shakes her head, "I can't book any indoor venues because of the restrictions, however, I checked and the Amphitheater is considered an outdoor space and could be rented for a couple of hours."

"You not thinking of going live, are you? I mean, what the odds that someone doesn't recognize where you are and word gets around and soon, we're surrounded."

"Already thought of that and it shouldn't be an issue. The gates will be locked and I'll be paying to have a couple security people on standby. Not to mention that the camera angle will be made so all you see is a dark background, indiscernible from any other stage. If it works, I might consider doing a couple more shows. I'm going legit stir crazy and miss the adrenaline rush performing gives me."

"I thought going for rides on your bike was helping with that?"

"To some extent yes, however, I've basically been staying within an hour to hour and half range from home and it's just not enough, you know?"

Abby nods, "I get it, there's only so much running and training I can do. I miss playing actual games. You know, I wouldn't be opposed to jumping on a private jet and heading back to Cali for a bit if you wanted to check in with your label and allow me some beach and family time."

"You are aware how much a private jet costs, right? Also, there's way too many people on the beaches currently for a concert."

Abby shrugs, "It's just an option and I really do miss my family."

"Abs, do you think your parents would be up to travelling at the moment?"

"You mean for them to come here?"

Sarah smiles and shakes her head, "No, I'm thinking bigger. Mom has never been on a real vacation and now that I've the means to be able to make it happen, I'd like to plan a trip for all of us. What do you think?"

"I'm all for it, however, you do realize there's a ton of sanctions on travel in place."

"I do. Let me do some research and see what's allowed and then we'll drop the idea on our folks."

Abby smiles, leans over and kisses her cheek. "I love this idea and I love you."

"Love you too, beautiful."

A week later, Abby sits in the amphitheatre watching the love of her life front and centre on the stage as she puts on a virtual concert for her fans with a bit of help from those a bit more tech savvy than herself.

"To finish out, I'm going to sing a song that a wrote about someone very special to me; it's called Golden Girl."

Abby can't help but grin ear to ear as her wife smiles at her and sings out the words of love towards her.
