While looking out the hotel window, Abby smiles as she feels Sarah's lips touch the top of her shoulder and then arms wrap around her from behind.
"Morning."
"Morning, beautiful. How'd you sleep?"
"Sleep, what's that?"
Sarah chuckles. "We could always go back to bed for more sleep, it's not like we have plans."
Abby chuckles, "As much as I'd love to spend another day in bed with you superstar; how about we change things up and actually get to checking out the sights and sounds of Barcelona, rather than just the artwork on our hotel room walls?"
"I guess, being as though we're already here and everything, we should make like tourists and check out the sights."
Abby turns around and kisses her, smiling, "We could always just head for the beach again."
"I seem to recall that you wearing a rather revealing bikini is what led to us staying inside yesterday."
Abby laughs, "No regrets."
"Uh-huh." Sarah chuckles. "Let's finish our breakfast, get dressed and head out for some sightseeing. I have a feeling it's going to be a good day for that."
Abby nods.
As they head towards the door, Sarah gently takes Abby's arm and pulls her towards her, "We won't be able to do this once we step outside this door." They share a kiss and hug. "I love you, Abs."
Abby smiles as she moves some hair away from her girlfriend's face, "Love you, too."
After making a stop at the front desk for some suggestions of places to take in within walking distance, the two make their way out into civilization.
A short time later and Abby can't help but stand off to the side and snap pictures of Sarah and the way her face keeps lighting up every time she notices more in the details of the Gothic architecture and stained glass of the cathedral they're currently viewing. She doesn't hear a word her girlfriend is saying over the tour guide and barely understands his English, but it's plain to see that her girl is enjoying herself and that's more important that anything else at the moment.
"It's beautiful, isn't Abs? The detail work in everything is incredible; the more I look, the more I see."
Abby nods. "The stained glass really is incredible. I think our tour guide is motioning for us, time to move on."
Sarah groans as she's not quite ready to leave and quickly snaps a few more photographs on their way out.
"Are you hungry? We could grab something to eat and drink at that little place with the patio area."
"I could definitely use something to drink."
They make their way out of the building a few minutes later, and Sarah reaches for Abby's hand. "What if we're seen holding hands?"
"Friends can hold hands, and it's not like either of us have been recognized while here."
"Yeah, but it only takes one person or picture and our vacation is ruined."
Sarah smiles, "It's adorable how protective you are of us and our relationship, but I'm not concerned about pictures of us together surfacing anymore. If that means me having to sit through another lecture from the powers that be at the label about following their narrative for me then I will, but according to Tanner, they've got bigger fish to fry right now. Not to mention, no one knows Sarah Davis here, I haven't had a single person even make eyes at me since we've been here; not going to lie, it's been amazing!! Also, Lauren has been posting a tons of pics of her partying and flirting with friends and fam, so, we should be all good. Now, let's sample some of the amazing food this area offers and decide where we're headed next."
