Abby leans over and kisses her wife. "Are you sure that it's okay for me to leave the bubble to go and see my parents?"

Sarah shrugs, "I'm not stopping you; it's your choice."

"Babe, that's not fair."

"What's not fair is the amount of people getting sick and or dying all around us."

"Passive-aggressive much?"

"How do you want me to answer that question? I don't have the right to prevent you from seeing your parents, but I do have the right to love you with everything in me and not want anything to happen to you or them because Facetiming them wasn't enough."

"Your Mom is in the next room and we've been with her the last few months, I haven't seen my parents or family in that time period."

"I know and I understand you wanting to physically see and feel them, however, I need to be selfish right now and ask you to hold off on it until things get better in the world. Abs, you know I love you and your parents and if everything wasn't such a mess around us right now, I'd be passing you the keys to my car and telling you to have a good time. I'm in the middle of discussing and negotiating a new contract with Longhorn and it could and will be, huge for all of us and if I'm worried about you, then ..."

Abby lets out a loud sigh and sits down beside Sarah. "You're not being selfish, so much as practical and if I were a good wife, I'd have taken your feelings into consideration before I told my Mom that I'd be joining them for dinner."

Sarah looks at her, "You're an amazing wifey, Abs; you've been my rock through everything and I'll never be able to find the words to express how much I love you, but, perhaps once the i's are dotted and the t's crossed, I can find a way to show you."

"Are you trying to buy me off?"

Sarah chuckles, "I'm about to have more digits in my bank account than I ever thought I'd see in my lifetime and I can't think of a better way to spend some of it then spoiling my girl. I was thinking that once things get back to normal, we officially announce ourselves to the world with a big ass, celeb filled wedding and reception followed by the honeymoon of your dreams."

Abby smiles, "While I appreciate the thought, we don't need a wedding redo; ours was lowkey and perfect. I'm on board for a large gathering of friends and family once things are better and definitely always up for another trip with you, as long as it involves sun, sand, bikinis and martinis."

Sarah chuckles before pausing, "Abs, things are getting better, right? My anxiety level is through the roof and it's making processing everything that's happened over the past 24 hours all the more difficult."

Abby laughs, "Because, it's so hard to process the fact that your bank account is about to explode and your gorgeous face is about to become the global face of Longhorn Music."

Sarah laughs, "That. But, also, the fact that I need to find new representation, management, financial advisors and basically, have a clean slate to build my own team with people I can trust and not be concerned about being stabbed in the back or sold out by all because, I happened to step into an elevator."

"It's about more than just you stepping into an elevator, Babe and you know it. You're a good person and you make everyone around you a better person. In the time we've been together, you've been blindsided, backstabbed, extorted, threatened amongst other things, and where others would have packed it all in you've continued to stand up and fight. You're stronger that you give yourself credit for and everyone around you knows that you're a force to be reckoned with. The millions of fans around the world buying up Selena Dagger merch and tickets aren't doing it because they're told too, they're doing it because you've a reputation for giving 110% on the stage, in the studio and also, in person. You sign autographs, take pictures, answer fan mail and engage with the fans in ways that not many artists do and they love you for that. I love you for that."
