Over the next several days and since the release of her radio interview during which she was forced to state on air the split from Dave was amicable, Sarah finds her phone, email and social media being bombarded with messages from supporters and fans voicing their opinions on its demise and speculating who cheated on who and with whom.

As her phone buzzes for seemingly the millionth time on the morning Sarah has had enough and in a moment of overwhelming anger and frustration by the entire ordeal, fires her iPhone at the wall, narrowly missing out on striking Abby who was entering the room at the same time. Abby jumps back as the object hits the wall in front of her before hitting the floor with a thud. She looks at the phone, hole in the wall and then at her girlfriend.

"Oh shit, Baby, I'm sorry!" Sarah makes her way over to Abby. "Are you okay? I didn't hit you, did I?"

Abby shakes her head. "Looks like the wall took the brunt of it. I thought I told you to ignore your phone and turn off the notifications?" Abby gives her a look and Sarah shrugs. "Force of habit."

"Uh-huh. Guess we need to speak with Tanner now and ask him to get you another phone because I don't think that one survived."

Sarah chuckles, "On the bright side, at least it finally stopped buzzing."

Abby laughs. "Not the point and you know it."

"I just want a day out of the spotlight and to be able relax, you know?"

Abby sits on the bed beside her and takes her in her arms, "About that; I have an idea. I'm meeting up with Tanner this afternoon along with Alex, Christen Press and Tobin Heath to do a photo shoot; would you like to come along and watch rather than sitting her sulking all day?"

Sarah smiles, "You're asking me to come and watch my hot as fuck girlfriend and her friends run around in skimpy bikinis while getting their pictures taken, correct?"

Abby laughs, "Something, like that; so, what do you think?"

"I think that I'm coming, I mean, I would love to come along to watch. Alex already knows about us; can we trust Christen and Tobin with the information?"

Abby nods. "Yes. Just so you know Tobin isn't taking part in the photoshoot, just supporting her girlfriend. They aren't out as a couple, so, at least we have that in common with them; not to mention, I think you'll get along really well with the Tobs, she's chill and an artist at heart."

"An artist at heart, huh?"

"Yeah, she loves to draw and paint, listen to music, surf and even skateboard, like you."

Sarah's eyes light up at the word skateboard, "Really? I haven't taken my board out in forever. The label kind of frowns upon it, apparently, they're concerned I could get hurt. Another double standard considering, Dave drives a friggin motorcycle."

Abby leans over and kisses her cheek, "No more shop talk. Let's grab a shower together, have something to eat and then chill for a bit before we meet up with the others, okay?"

"Lead the way, beautiful."

After a relatively tame shower together, the two women get dressed and then head down to the kitchen to grab some breakfast or at this point of the day, you might as well say brunch. They tidy up their mess and then set about packing their bags for the outing.

"Abs?"

"Yeah, babe?"

"Am I dressed, okay? I mean to meet your teammates and not be recognized?"

"Baby, you are perfect; although, we should probably consider getting you a Dodgers or UCLA cap so that you can blend in a bit better."

"But I like my UNC hat."
