Chapter 23-Digging Around

St. Louis, Missouri
Finally arriving at Sam's friends house we get out of the car and heading up the walkway towards the front door knocking on it as we wait for an answer "oh my god, Sam." A woman exclaimed once she opened the door "well, if it isn't, little Becky." Sam said with a smirk on his face "you know what you can do with that little Becky crap?" She asked him before pulling him into a tight hug "I got your e-mail." Sam replied once they pulled away "I didn't think that you would come here." She said.

"Dean. Older brother and this is our little sister Addie." Dean said "hi." She said waving at us both "we're here to help. Whatever we can do." Sam said "come in." She said letting us inside her house before shutting the door behind us "nice place." I muttered "it's my parents. I was just crashing here for the long weekend when everything happened. I decided to take the semester off. I'm gonna stay until Zach's free." She replied.

"Where are your folks?" Sam asked her "they live in Paris for half the year, so they're on their way home now for the trail. Do you guys want some beer or water or something?" She asked us "hey-." Dean said before being cut off "no, thanks. So, tell us what happened." I said turning to look at her.

"Well, um, Zach came home, and he found Emily tied to a chair. And she was beaten up and bloody, and she wasn't breathing. So, he called 9-1-1, and the police...they showed up, and they arrested him. But the thing is, the only way that Zach could've killed Emily is if he was in two places at the same time. The police...they have a video. It's from the security tape from across the street. And it shows Zach coming home at 10:30. Now, Emily was killed just after that, but i swear, he was here with me, having a few beers until at least after midnight." She said looking up at us.

"Ya know, maybe we could see the crime scene...Zach's house." Sam suggested "we could." Dean replied as he nodded "why? I mean, what could you do?" She asked "well, me, not much. But Dean's a cop." Sam said "detective, actually." Dean replied "really?" She asked him as he nodded at her
"Where?" She asked him "Bisbee, Arizona. But I'm off duty now." Dean said "you guys, it's so nice to offer, but I just...I don't know." She replied looking up at us "Bec, look, I know Zach didn't do this. Now, we have to find a way to prove that he's innocent." Sam said

"Okay. I'm gonna go get the keys." She replied before walking off "oh, yeah, man, you're a real straight shooter with your friends." Dean said with a smirk on his face "look, Zach and Becky need our help." Sam replied "I just don't think this is our kind of problem, Sam." I said walking up to him "she doesn't really seem like she's lying, though. She said she knows her brother was with her when it happened." Sam replied looking at me "yeah, two places at once?" I questioned.
