After getting directions from Harley we hopped in the car and took off towards our next destination when all of a sudden I hear a buzzing coming from the backseat "what the hell?" Dean questioned as he reached his arm to grab it "let me get it." I said unbuckling my seat and reaching for it "what are you doing? Sit down and buckle up." Dean said "oh yeah, because searching through a bag while driving is so much better for my safety." I sarcastically replied.

"Okay, okay. Sit down. I'm pulling over." Dean replied as he pulled the car over before turning around grabbing the EMF detector to see it was lighting up and buzzing like crazy as we get out of the car beginning to follow the detector taking notice of the scariest scarecrow in the entire world "dude, you're fugly." Dean said making me giggle "you know he has a sickle in his hand. You might want to be careful about what you say to him." I said jokingly as he looked at the sickle noticing something else "what is it?" I asked out loud.

As he walked over to a ladder grabbing it and placing it in front of the scarecrow before climbing on top of it to look at it as he pulls it's sleeve away taking notice of the slight evident tattoo on it's arm "is that a tattoo?" I asked him as he pulled out the missing persons poster looking at the man in the photos tattoo "yeah, I think so. Nice tat." Dean said as he got off the ladder "all right, let's get outta here." He said placing his hand on my back lightly shoving me towards the car.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked "yeah, of course." He said looking down at me "I know those people back at the general store were nice, but don't you feel like they were a little bit...too nice?" I asked him "yeah, I thought that too." Dean said "and don't you feel like it was weird how it only took Emily saying, 'remember, they were just married,' for Harley to say he remembered seeing that couple? Even though he had already been looking at their pictures for like five minutes and said, he didn't remember." I asked him.

"Yup." He said chuckling "oh, and also. That thing is totally made of human flesh, right?" I asked him with a look of disgust on my face "oh yeah, definitely." He said nodding at me as we both got into the car and drove away.

[....]
Pulling into the front of the gas pumps at the general store seeing Emily standing outside waiting to fill up our tank "you're back." Emily said "never left." Dean said "still looking for your friends?" She asked him as he nodded at her "you mind fillin' her up there, Emily? So you grew up here?" He asked her "I came here when I was thirteen. I lost my parents. Car accident. My aunt and uncle took me in." She said "they're nice people." I said looking up at her "everybody's nice here." She said "so, what, it's the uh, perfect little town?" Dean asked her.

"Well, ya know, it's the boonies. But I love it. I mean, the towns around us, people are losing their homes, their farms. But here, it's almost like we're blessed." She said "hey, you've been out to the orchard? You see that scarecrow?" Dean asked her "yeah, it creeps me out." She replied "whose is it?" He asked "I don't know. It's just always been there."
Emily said shrugging.

"That your aunt and uncle's?" I asked her gesturing to the red SUV parked by the front door "customers. Had some car troubles." Emily said "It's not a couple, is it? A guy and a girl?" Dean asked her "mm-hmm." Emily said as she nodded "do you happen to know where they went?" Dean asked "yeah, Scotty's." Emily said "thank you." Dean said as he paid her.
