It is now nighttime as we begin driving around the neighborhood while I sit in the back reading our father's journal looking for answers on what could be going on here.
"Ya know, I've heard of killer bees, but killer beetles? What is it that could make different bugs attack?" I wondered "well, haunting a sometimes include bug manifestations." Sam said sending a glance my way through the rear view mirror "yeah, but I didn't see any evidence of ghost activity." Dean said "yeah, me neither." I muttered "maybe, they're being controlled somehow. Ya know, by something or someone." Sam said "you mean, like Willard?" I asked him "yeah, bugs instead of rats." Dean replied.
"There are cases of psychic connections between people and animals...elementals, telepaths." Sam said "yeah, that whole Timmy-Lassie thing. Larry's kid...he's got bugs for pets." I said "Matt?" Sam asked "yeah." Dean replied "he did try to scare that crazy lady with that creepy thing earlier." I said "what?" Dean asked us "Matt was trying to scare Lynda with a tarantula." Sam explained "you think he's our Willard then?" I asked him "I don't know. Anything's possible, I guess." Sam said "oh, hey. Pullover here." Dean said pointing to a house.
"What are we doing here?" I asked him as he got out of the car "It's too late to talk to anybody else." Dean replied "we're gonna squat in an empty house?" Sam asked him with hesitation "I wanna try the steam shower. Come on. Come on!" Dean yelled excitedly as we pulled into the driveway getting out before heading inside.

The next day arrives as I sit in the car waiting for my brothers to come out so we can head over to the next crime scene.

Pulling up we see police and paramedics wheeling out a body "hello. You're, uh, back early." Larry said "yeah, we just drove in, wanted to take another look at the neighborhood." Dean said "what's going on?" I asked him "you guys met, uh...Lynda Bloome at the barbecue?" Larry asked us "the realtor." Sam said "well, she, uh...passed away last night." Larry replied looking down at the ground."What happened?" I asked him "I'm still trying to find out. Identified the body for the police. Look, I-I...I'm sorry, this isn't a good time now." Larry said "It's okay." Sam replied "excuse me." Larry said before walking away "you know what we have to do, right?" I asked out loud "yeah. Get in that house." Sam said "see if we got a big problem." Dean replied as we walked around the back of the house before making our way inside.
"This looks like the place." I said taking notice of the blood trail on the floor "spiders...from spider-boy?" Dean questioned "Matt? Maybe." Sam replied.

Parking on the side of the road we see Matt heading into the woods as we get out following closely behind him "isn't his house that way?" Dean said pointing in the opposite direction of where Matt was walking "yup." I replied "so, where's he goin'?" Dean asked us as we made our way towards him "hey, Matt. Remember me?" Sam asked him "what are you doing out here?" Matt asked us "well, we wanna talk to you." Dean said."You're not here to buy a house, are you? Wa- Wait. You're not serial killers?" Matt questioned us "no, no. No, I think you're safe." I replied "so, Matt...you sure know a lot about insects." Dean said "so?" Matt asked him "did you hear what happened to Lynda, the realtor?" I asked him
"I heard she died this morning." Matt said somberly "mm-hmm, that's right. Spider bites." Dean said "Matt...you tried to scare her with a spider." Sam said "wait. You think I had something to do with that?" Matt asked worriedly "you tell us." I said "that tarantula was a joke. Anyway, that wouldn't explain the bee attack or the gas company guy." Matt replied "you know about those?" Sam asked him "there's something going on here. I don't know what...but something's happening with the insects. Let me show you something." Matt replied walking away with us behind him.
[....]
"So, if you knew about all this bug stuff, why not tell your dad? Maybe he could clear everybody out." I asked him "believe me, I've tried. But, uh, Larry doesn't listen to me." Matt replied "why not?" Sam asked him "mostly? He's too disappointed in his freak son." Matt said "I hear you." Sam replied "you do?" Dean asked in annoyance
"Matt, how old are you?" I asked him "sixteen." Matt replied "well, don't sweat it because, in two years, something great's gonna happen." Sam said "what?" Matt asked him "college. You'll be able to get out of that house and away from your dad." Sam replied "what kind of advice is that? Kid should stick with his family." Dean asked him "how much further, Matt?" I asked him "we're close." Matt replied.
"I've been keeping track of insect populations. It's, um, part of an AP science class." Matt said "you two are like peas in a pod." Dean joked "what's been happening? I asked him "a lot. I mean, from bees to earthworms, beetles...you name it. It's like they're congregating here." Matt said as we made our way to a pile of worms as Dean tapped it with his foot "there's something down there." Dean said pulling out a human skull.
