Dean had tried to call Bobby a few times on our drive over to his house "you really think it's going after Bobby?" I asked him "yeah, he's the nearest hunter I can think of." Dean said "I know, but it seems a little too close to home, doesn't it?" I asked "what do you mean?" Dean said as he looked over at me "I mean possessing Sam? Going after Jo? And now, Bobby? I get demons enjoy causing chaos, but this one seems like it has a personal vendetta against us." I said "when did you grow up so much?" Dean asked "what?" I questioned "I liked it when you were a carefree toddler. Your favorite pastime was coloring with Sam and me and forcing us to watch Scooby-Doo with you. Now I have to worry about you getting caught up in hunts." Dean said.
"You say 'forcing' like you aren't the reason I watched that show, to begin with." I smirked "yeah, well, I just wish I could give you a life...where you didn't have to worry about stuff like this." Dean said sadly "that would be too boring." I joked "I'm serious. I wish I could give you a home." Dean said "yeah, so am I, Dean.
You do the best you can for me-." I said "sometimes it's not enough-." Dean said "Dean, will you shut up for a second? I don't want to sound cheesy or anything, but you, Sam, this car...that is my home. It always has been, and I'm perfectly happy with that. Why do you always feel guilty about stuff you have no control over?" I sighed."Can we just pretend like you're just a regular kid, who doesn't say adult stuff like that?" Dean said "would it make you feel better if I asked you to color with me later?" I smirked "shut up." Dean laughed.
As we pulled up to the house, Bobby greeted us outside and informed us that he had been waiting for us to arrive. When we walked into the backroom, Bobby had Sam's body tied to a chair underneath a devil's trap. Bobby picked up a bucket of water off of his desk and handed it to Dean "it's all yours." Bobby said as Dean smacked the demon in it's face to wake it up "hey." Dean said as the demon looked up and spotted the devil's trap painted on the ceiling and then smiled at Dean.
"Dean. Back from the dead. Getting to be a regular thing for you, isn't it? Like a cockroach." Sam said "how about I smack that smart-ass right out of your mouth?" Dean asked "oh, careful, now. Wouldn't want to bruise this fine packaging." The demon taunted "oh, don't worry, this isn't gonna hurt Sam much. You, on the other hand...feel like talking now?" Dean said as he splashed the holy water on the demon, who sizzled and roared in pain "Sam's still my meat puppet. I'II make him bite off his tongue." The demon gritted it's teeth.
"No, you won't be in him long enough." Dean nodded at Bobby as Bobby started reading an exorcism "see, whatever bitch-boy master plan you demons are cooking up? You're not getting Sam. You understand me? 'Cause I'm gonna kill every one of you first." Dean said over Bobby as the demon painfully struggled, but then it threw its head back and laughed maniacally, causing Bobby to pause in surprise for a second "you really think that's what this is about? The master plan? I don't give a rat's ass about the master plan." The demon laughed as Bobby went back to reading.
