After taking care of Dixon, Dean and I searched part of the city for Gordon while Sam checked the other half. A few hours later, and having no luck, we decided to go back to the motel room and found Sam already inside. Dean took his jacket off and closed the door behind us "man, we must have checked three dozen motels, empty buildings, warehouses.." Dean said "yeah, me too. Big city." Sam nodded.

As I sat down at the table with Sam after I took my coat off. Dean walked over to the sink to wash his face "it's like a giant haystack, and Gordon's a deadly needle. We're running out of daylight. Won't have the sun slowing him down." Dean said "yeah, he'll be unstoppable." Sam nodded as he looked over at Dean as he walked to the table "hey, uh, give me your phone." Sam said "what for?" Dean asked him as Sam pulled the SIM card out of his cellphone "well, if Gordon knows our cell numbers, he can use the cell signal to track us down." Sam said "oh, yeah. Thanks." Dean said.

As Sam took the SIM card out of Dean's phone and then stomped on both of them. Dean walked back to the window and peered out of the curtain "Sammy, you stay here with Addie." Dean said "why? Where are you going?" I asked, confused as Dean pulled the Colt out of his bag and checked it "I'm going after Gordon." Dean said "what?" Sam asked as he shook his head "you heard me." Dean said "not alone, you're not." Sam said "Sam, I don't need you to sign me a permission slip, okay? He's after you, not me, and he's turbocharged. | shouldn't have taken Dia to search for him in the first place. I want you two staying out of harm's way. I'll take care of it." Dean said.

"Are you crazy? You're gonna get yourself killed!" I shouted "just another day at the office. It's a massively dangerous day at the office." Dean said "so, you're the guy with nothing to lose now, huh? Oh, wait, let me guess. Because, uh....it's because you're already dead, right?" Sam asked "if the shoe fits." Dean said "ya know what, man? I'm sick and tired of your kamikaze trip." Sam said "whoa, whoa, kamikaze? I'm more like a ninja." Dean said "that's not funny." Sam said "it's a little funny." Dean said "no. It's not." Sam said, straight-faced.

"What do you want me to do, Sam, huh? Sit around all day, writing sad poems about how I'm gonna die? Ya know what? I got one. Let's see, what rhymes with 'shut up, Sam'?" Dean said "dude, drop the attitude, Dean. Quit turning everything into a punchline. And you know something else? Stop trying to act like you're not afraid." Sam said "I'm not!" Dean shouted as I groaned and shook my head "Dean..." I muttered "you're lying. And you may as well drop it 'cause both of us can see right through you." Sam said "you got no idea what you're talking about." Dean said.

"Yeah, I do. You're scared, Dean. You're scared because your year is running out, and you're still going to Hell, and you're freaked." Sam said "and how do you know that?" Dean asked him "because I know you!" Sam shouted "really?" Dean asked "yeah, I've been following you around my entire life! I mean, I've been looking up to you since I was four, Dean. Studying you, trying to be just like my big brother. So yeah, I know you. Better than anyone else in the entire world. And this is exactly how you act when you're terrified. And, I mean, I can't blame you. It's just-." Sam shouted.

"What?" Dean asked "I wish you would drop the show and be our brother again. 'Cause....just 'cause." Sam said as Dean thought for a second and nodded "all right, we'll hole up, cover our scent so he can't track us, and wait the night out here." Dean said as Sam went out to pick up new phones for him and Dean. He also grabbed a few other supplies that might prove useful for the night. When he came back, we barricaded the room and lit some sage. After a couple hours, night fell, and we were beyond bored.
