Falling asleep on the ride over I woke up to the sound of rain fall as I sit up in my seat rubbing the sleepiness away from my eyes "you've gotta be kidding me. A killer clown?" Dean asked him "what? What do you mean, killer clown?" I asked nervously "yeah. He left the daughter unharmed and killed the parents. Ripped them to pieces, actually." Sam explained "and this family was at some carnival that night?" Dean asked him as Sam nodded "right, right. The, uh, Cooper Carnivals." Sam said.

"So, how do you know we're not dealing with some psycho carnie in a clown suit?" Dean asked him "well, the cops have no viable leads, and all the employees were tearing down shop. Alibis all around. Plus, this girl said she saw a clown vanish into thin air. Cops are saying trauma, of course." Sam said "well, I know what you're thinking, Sam. Why did it have to be clowns?" Dean said "oh, give me a break." Sam groaned as Dean laughed "you didn't think I'd remember, did you? I mean, come on, you still bust out crying whenever you see Ronald McDonald on the television. You've even given our little sister a complex." Dean said.

"Well, at least I'm not afraid of flying." Sam replied "planes crash!" Dean yelled "and apparently clowns kill!" Sam shouted as Dean sighed "so, these types of murders, they ever happen before?" Dean asked him as Sam looked through the papers "uh, according to the file, 1981, the Bunker Brothers Circus, same MO. It happened three times, three different locales." Sam said "it's weird, though. I mean, if it is a spirit, it's usually bound to a specific locale, ya know, a house, or a town." Dean replied "so, how's this one moving from city to city, carnival to carnival?" Sam asked out loud.

As Dean shrugged "cursed object, maybe. Spirit attaches itself to something, and the, uh, carnival carries it around with them." Dean said as Sam scoffed "great. Paranormal scavenger hunt." Sam muttered "well, this case was your idea. By the way, why is that? You were awfully quick to jump on this job." Dean said as Sam shrugged "so?" Sam said "it's just...not like you, that's all. I thought you were Hell-bent for leather on the demon hunt." Dean replied as Sam shrugged.

"I don't know, I just think, this job, it's what Dad would have wanted us to do." Sam said "what Dad would have wanted?" Dean asked him "yeah. So?" Sam asked as Dean shrugged "nothin'." He mumbled.

As we pulled up to the carnival, which was completely surrounded by police "check it out. Five-o." Dean said as Sam and Dean looked at each other, then got out and set off for the police as I got out of the van deciding to stretch and get some fresh air as I looked up to see a clown in an old costume standing by one of the tents, staring at me and waving making my skin crawl "nope." I muttered taking one last look at it to make sure it wouldn't move as I made my way toward Sam and Dean.

"What are you doing? Get back to the van." Dean said "I saw..a clown." I said out of breath "oh my god, you two. Were at a carnival, there's gonna be clowns. Now go." Dean said as he shook his head "okay, calm down and listen." I said "no, go, Ads, you're fine." Dean replied "listen! It was waving at me while hiding out by the side of a tent and wearing an old clown costume." I said as I furrowed my brow.

"That's pretty weird, Dean." Sam said as Dean sighed "yeah, all right. Where was it." Dean questioned as I pointed to where the clown had been "I'll be right back." Dean said as he ran off while Sam cleared his throat "so, we haven't really had a chance to talk." Sam said "about what?" I asked him as Sam furrowed his brow "about what? About Dad." I asked as I shook my head "I'm not talking about that." I muttered.

Sam's eyes softened "Addison, I really think you should talk about it." Sam said "Sam, stop." I said looking away "Dia, you know you can talk to me." Sam said, putting his hand on my shoulder as I looked at Sam and pushed his hand away "seriously, stop. I don't want to talk about it." I replied as Sam shook his head "what is it with you and Dean? Dad's gone, and neither of you has said hardly anything about it!" Sam angrily said.
