Fast and furious: spy racers Tony x Layla One shots

Mishap part 5 (final)

                         Tony POV
"Layla!" I shouted. Remembering I still had my spy watch, I used the laser that Frostee installed to cut through the ropes binding my hands. The men, seeing I was free, tried to grab me but I plowed straight through them towards Layla. The laser was now fully charged and shot a bright beam right at her. With all my strength, I lunged at Layla, pushing her out of the way and tackling her to the floor.
A loud bang! filled the air as the laser shot straight through the concrete wall. "Are you okay?" I asked as I got off of Layla and helped her up.
She nodded her head. "Thanks, Toretto."
The sound of slow clapping caught our attention. "Oh, ya managed ta escape again. But wha' now? You're surrounded." Jack Cole said. Just as the words left his mouth, the FBI came barging in and surrounded them. "I'll get out again and when I do, I'm comin' for ya!" Jack Cole spat as he was dragged away.
"How did they get here so soon?" Layla asked as I untied her.
"The first thing I did when I found my spy watch was text Miss Nowhere and they forgot to take my watch back when they caught us again." I said.
Suddenly two FBI agents approached Layla and I. "Layla Gray, you're under arrest." One said but before they could take her I put my arm out in front of her protectively.
"She's not going anywhere." I told them.
"We have one resisting arrest." He said into his Wilkie Talkie.
"Ugh, Tony. I knew you wouldn't give Layla up easily." Miss Nowhere said as she approached us.
"She didn't do anything wrong!" I said.
"Tony, she's a criminal!" She said.
"No, she was working with me. We were in this together. If you want to arrest her, you'll have to take me too!" I said.
Miss Nowhere looked upset but finally she walked away saying, "Fine. But you've got a lot of explaining to do!" The FBI agents gave one last wary look at Layla before following after Miss Nowhere.

                    Layla POV
We did it! Jack Cole was going back to prison, I was alive and not under arrest, now there was only one thing left to do. "Why'd you do that?" I asked Tony.
"Like I said, we're in this together." He smiled at me and I smiled back.
"Thank you, Tony, for trusting me, saving me, and not giving up on me." I said.
"Of course. I'd do anything for you. I love you even if you don't-." I interrupted him by smashing my lips on his.

               Tony POV
Layla... kissed me?! My eyes were wide but after a few seconds I closed them and kissed back, wrapping my arms around her waist. The kiss felt like an eternity but finally Layla pulled away. "I love you too." She said.
"But you said-."
"Forget what I said. I was blindsided."
"Does that mean you'll stay?" I asked.
"You're always recruiting me, aren't you." She smiled. Slowly I began leaning down until my lips brushed against hers. I could feel her smile widen through the kiss as we moved our lips in sync. Her arms made their way up to my head, getting tangled in my hair as I snaked my arms around her waist, pushing her up against me even closer. But before the kiss could get too deep, since we were still in public, I pulled away and rested my forehead against hers.
    "Okay, you have a lot of explaining to do." A voice said, stealing our attention. We both turned to see Echo with her hands on her hips and Cisco and Frostee behind her.
    "Layla, you're back!" Frostee yelled.
    "And are you two-?" Cisco asked.
    I looked at Layla for consent before answering. "Yes. I'll tell you everything later."
    "You better." Echo said before walking away.
    "Congrats." Cisco said and followed Echo with Frostee.
    Love came with pain. Layla and I both had to pay the toll, but in the end nothing could keep us apart. After spending that year apart, I was ready to do whatever it took to keep us together and not let another mishap like that happen again.
