"You ready?" Finnick placed his hand on my shoulder as we got ready to walk into the room.

We were about to meet the other tributes and I was quite nervous. Especially to meet Katniss.

I had heard a lot about her and to be honest she made me feel kinda intimidated, I hadn't even met her yet.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I sighed and the door opened.

Finnick nodded and held my hand as we walked through into the room.

I gazed around.

Before when I had been here, the tributes had all been children under the age of eighteen.
But now as I looked at them, they were all well into adulthood.

How could I compete against adults?
I was only fifteen.

I felt a twinge of nerves in my stomach as I accidentally made eye contact with the girl from one.

She looked me up and down menacingly and glared.
I gulped and pulled Finnick away toward our chariot.

"I think I'm gonna go see fire girl. I'll see you in a minute?" He asked me as we walked.

"Uh yeah okay. I'll just wait here." I nodded.

"You can go over and talk to people, you know that right?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Yeah I know. I'm good. I'll just stay with the horses. If anyone wants to talk to me, they can come over here." I patted one of the black horses and rubbed its neck.

"Alright. You do you boo." He shrugged.

"Please don't say that." I cringed.

He just chuckled and walked away.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, he could be so embarrassing sometimes.

I turned back to the horse and fed it a sugar cube.

Then, I heard a voice from behind me.

"Well, well. Audrey Ledger."

I turned to see Johanna Mason standing right in front of me.

I smiled and went to hug her.
"Hey Johanna."

"You've grown." She looked me up and down.

"Well, it has been a while."

"Yeah." She hummed and looked away.

When I had got out of the games, me and Johanna became friends on my victory tour. She was kind of like the sister I never had and was always looking out for me. I hadn't seen her in a while though, I just wished it could have been under different circumstances.

"I see Finnick is pestering the girl on fire." She nodded over to the other side of the room.

I looked over to see Finnick smirking and Katniss standing there looking very uncomfortable.

"Do you think I should go rescue her?" I asked.

"Nah, let him have his fun first. Go in a minute." She chuckled.

I felt bad for Katniss, Finnick could be quite intimidating at times and I didn't want her to not like him. It would be good to have her as an ally.

Johanna started talking about something but I had zoned out. I was thinking about the games and who me and Finnick should ally with. Well, I hoped me and Finnick would be allies in the first place. I was sure we would, but I would have to confirm it. I didn't wanna get the wrong idea.

"Audrey? Audrey!" Johanna clicked her fingers in front of my face a few times before I snapped out of my daze.

"Hm?" I turned to look at her.

She huffed, "I don't even know why I bother." And walked off.

I sighed, "Johanna." I tried calling for her but it was no use.

I decided that now was the time to go and help Katniss, after all,  the ceremony would be starting soon.

So, I walked quickly over there.
I arrived in time to hear Finnick say something about how Katniss had outgrown something, I don't know, but she looked very uncomfortable.

Finnick was facing away from me and so Katniss saw me first. She weakly smiled at me and Finnick turned his head.

"Audrey! You okay?" He smiled.

"Yeah I'm fine, you?"

"All good." He replied.

"I hope your not annoying Katniss." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Me? Annoy? Never. I can't believe you would ever imply such a thing." He placed a hand on his chest in fake hurt and I rolled my eyes and turned away.

"I'm Audrey Ledger." I put my hand out for Katniss to shake and she took it.

"Oh I heard about you! Youngest ever to win right?" She nodded.

"Uh yeah." I said and fiddled with a bit of my dress.

"I'm Katniss Everdeen." She smiled.

"I know." I smiled back.

"Who doesn't?" Finnick chimed in and I glared at him. I was trying to make allies and he wasn't making it very easy. He held his hands up in mock surrender and walked away.

"Sorry about him, he can be quite egotistical at times but he is a good person. Once you really get to know him, he drops the whole 'I'm better than everyone' act." I explained.

"Right." She nodded, looking a bit unsure.

"Everyone mount your chariots, the ceremony will begin soon." A voice boomed over us.

Just as it said that, Peeta Mellark appeared beside me, "You ready Katniss, oh hi. I don't believe we've met. I'm Peeta Mellark." We shook hands.

"No I don't think we have. Audrey Ledger." I introduced myself.

"Well I'd better go. See you at training." I smiled and walked away.

As I got back to my chariot, Finnick was waiting for me.

"Oh hey Rheya." He nodded as we got onto the chariot.

"Finnick you've gotta try and be nicer, I was trying to make allies there!" I told him.

"Alright alright. I'll try, but I can't promise anything." He said.

"Fine." I shook my head and smiled.

"What? Why are you smiling?" He asked.

"I don't know, you just make me laugh." I replied.

"Why?"

"Cause your an idiot."

"Hey!" He scrunched his face up and threw his hands in the air.

"Sorry, it's the truth."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah." I laughed and soon he joined in too.

Suddenly the chariot started to pull away.

Finnick grasped my hand as it pulled us into the jaws of death.

I braced myself for what was to come.

Then, we were there.

Don't worry though, this one is still going!
I don't know when the first chapter will be out but I will do an announcement when it is.

I hope you all are having a good week so far!
