Was she joking? I hoped so, but I knew deep down, she wouldn't joke about that. She must have seen or heard him talking about it. He intended to blow them up and still pretend to have them all just to get me. But he didn't know I was already here. Tyler looked at Dani and me. Tracy looked at me too. I didn't know what to do. If we jumped out from this floor we could survive but we could get hurt or caught.

"What if we take turns climbing down from the window?" I ask. Dani and Tyler take a look. And nod.

"That could work, but I need to go first and secure the perimeter, does anyone know where any weapons are," Tyler asks. I shake my head looking at the knife.

"All I have is this," I say. He tilts his head.

"Better than nothing," He says taking it from me. And he gathers the bed sheets, tying them together.

As he ties the sheets to the bed, I can still hear someone beating on the door. But it was only the guards. I can't hear Damien yelling now. Maybe he was calling someone else, or maybe he had given up. Or maybe he was in the house. Shit, the window in the kitchen. Before I can say anything, Jake is stuck in the back of the head, Damien I standing behind him. Great. Now Jake is passed out and we are all in danger.

"Hello Addison," He says, his voice cold. I brace myself for something worse, but it doesn't come. He just stares at me. Tyler looks at me, and then at Dani. We are all confused.

"It is fascinating that you came to save them, but I am afraid you are too late, in four minutes, this entire cabin will light up like the Fourth of July," he says. Even if he didn't want to hurt me, he would. I knew that. And if Lena and him were working together for years, he knew her trade.

"De-activate it please, let them go, you have me now," I said. He studied me for a moment and sighed.

"I suppose you are here now, and it would be ethical for me to release them, yes, but you came to save them, not to turn yourself in, however, I will allow you to choose which one goes free," He said. There were four of us, we could take him, but as I thought that I saw his gun in his hand.

I can't choose. There is no way for me to. One person goes free the others are trapped in here with a bomb. Just to be blown to pieces. It was not a choice I could make.

"I- I can't," I said. He snickers to himself. And shakes his head.

"Oh, but you have to dear, if you don't they all die," He said. Tracy grabs my arm. I knew what was coming.

"Save Dani, save my daughter, don't worry about me, or anyone else, she is what is important to me, Derek would want you to save her," She said. I shook my head.

"No, I am not,'' I turned to Damien.

"What is my other option," I ask. He shook his head.

"I tell you what, choose two, final offer, the others have to stay here, Jake, Dani, Tracy, and Tyler, two of them will die today, but two of them will survive," He said. He was playing a game with me. He was toying with me.

"Hmm, except there are four of us who won't make it out of here, you said I could save two, that leaves four of us in the cabin, you never said anything about me or you, which means initially we would be getting out and you were playing me this entire time," I said. I see Jake move, Damien isn't paying attention to him.

"You are smart Addison, very, clever, but you have no idea how serious I am," he says. Jake is up now and has his pistol in his hand. Aiming it at Damien. I cross my arms.

"Yeah but I was only stalling for time," I said. Damien turns his head looking at Jake. Before Damien could aim his gun, Jake pulls the trigger on his. Aimed at Damiens's shoulder.
