Was she? Was it possible that Dani was born to Lee and Tracy? What if they had an affair? What if... Tracy didn't know if he would return, so she just slept with Lee because she was lonely and needed someone.

"Maybe, but it's just hearsay; Tracy would know, though," he said. We arrived at the gardens. This was getting juicy. I wanted to know more. If Lee were her father, that would explain why Damien is mad at Tracy. But why not be mad at Lee? He slept with her..if it was true.

"Can I tell you something?" He nods.

"Well, when I was in the library the other night, Damien was there, and he talked to me; I lied to Derek because I wanted to know what he wanted, but I think he's trying to play games, but he said something about Derek and Tracy, but nothing about Dani," I said. He makes a weird shape with his mouth.

"Hmm, if he's after Tracy and Derek but didn't say anything about Dani, that sounds odd. Did he mention Lee?"

"No, actually, he was dead set on getting Derek and Tracy, but he left this weird silver knife with a tribal wolf on it," I said. His eyes go wide. Was it something important? Did that mean something?

"I heard something about Lee and Damien and some woman, maybe his sister, being in this group called the Wild-wolves; if he left that knife, it might be true, and Derek would know about it," he said. I nod.

"You think I should tell him," I ask. He thinks for a moment.

"I think you should; if anything else happens, he would be the first person I'd want to know; he knows more about his dad's gangs and friends," he says. I sigh, knowing he's right.

"What if we seek him out, like, leave the gates open, communicate, see what he's wanting," I said. He shakes his head.

"Derek would kill us both if Damien didn't kill us first," he says. I sighed, but he didn't want to kill me the other night.

"But he didn't come to kill me; he didn't want me or my sisters. He wants Derek and Tracy, so if we keep meeting him in the library and just not let them know, we can gather more intel," I said. He thought about it for a moment.

"He didn't kill you because of Faith, who need I remind you is in the lab with a gunshot wound," he said. He was right. But he was afraid of her.

"He didn't kill you; he could've poisoned you, but he knocked you out; he's after Derek, and he wants Tracy; he won't hurt me, and with you on the other side, I can give a code word, you can come in guns blazing," I said. He sighs, puts his hand on his face, and wipes down. He knew I was right. We needed information. And I needed answers.

"Fine, but if he tries anything, yell out, and I'll come in, shooting to kill," he said. I nod.

Back in the villa, Dwayne escorts me back to the library. I show him the knife, and he tells me to hide it and unlocks the tunnel entrance. He said he'd unlock the other from the control room downstairs. I didn't know we had one. But some things tan off a code. They didn't have a reason to lock the hidden exits or entrances because no one had ever come in that way. Those men had gotten in from the back of the villa; there was a shed out there far off, and they waited. But Damien took the secret tunnel.

I left a note near the entrance on the inside. If Damien was to come back, I wanted him to see the note. I would go alone, with no weapon; I wanted to talk. I wouldn't have anyone with me. It would be me alone. But I wanted some answers. I wrote that I was not seeking trouble, telling Derek, or wearing anything; I didn't want Derek even to know we had a conversation. I told him I kept the secret that I had talked to him the night before but wanted to know a few things.
