GRACIE HUMMED ALONG TO THE SONG THAT WAS PLAYING ON THE LOUD SPEAKR AS SHE WIPED DOWN TABLES. they were getting ready to close and the girl was just about ready to go home and not do a single thing but sleep.

"grace, i think there's gum under one of those tables make sure you get it because i know vee's not going to. ima go count the money i'll be back in like fifteen minutes for your register." jackson patted the girl's back and then quickly disappeared.

"oh that's disgusting." she gagged when she felt a piece of gum under the table. she had latex gloves on because ain't no body cleaning messes like that with their bare hands, but it was still disgusting none the less.

"i really hope you dont mean the food." someone spoke behind her, which gave the girl quite the scare. when she yelled and turned around, she came face to face with the boy from the other day. the one who came in with madi.

"oh geez, sorry you scared me." she let out a breath and matt let out a small laugh, rubbing his arm in embarrassment.

"sorry, didnt mean to, i know you guys are closing but my friend madi sent me for food so..." he pursed his lips and the girl just raised an eyebrow slightly as she starred back him.

"right madi, tell her i said hi." she said and matt nodded awkwardly.

"got it."

grace kind of just ended up zoning out, noticing how blue his eyes were. she felt like if she wanted to she could easily get lost in them and everything held behind them. he obviosuly seemed comfortable enough to not be that far from his house. she could tell he was definitely  not from cali though, the accent giving it away.

"boston." was all she said and he just blinked at her before furrowing his eyebrows.

"excuse me?" he questioned, following her with his eyes as she went behind the register.

"your accent, it's either boston or jersey, but my money's on boston." the girl explained as she logged in before meeting his eyes once again.

"it's boston yeah- how did you know that?" he scratched the back of his neck as she shrugged, leaning forward on the counter.

"people from all over the world come to la, when i get bored i play a game to try to figure out people's accents." she shrugged and matt just raised his eyebrow slightly.

"that's cool i guess, i didn't even know i had one."

"no you definitely have one babe, i like it though. something different." she met his eyes once more with a smile and matt's cheeks flushed at the statement.

"thanks. i think."

"anyways, what do you want?" gracie questioned and matt just blinked at her.

"uh what?"
