"AH!" jackson screamed in the middle of his apartment, causing everyone to jump. the newfound friend group were all in his apartment, watching movies and hanging out for the afternoon.

it surprised the triplets and madi when they saw how big the apartment was for someone who just worked a manager position at panera bread. they quickly realized that they really didn't know much about jackson and the other two girls besides the character and personality they were discovering the more time they spent with them.

"asshole! stop doing that." gracie smacked his chest and moved away from her position next to him on the couch.

"no no no, oh my fucking gosh i think i'm gonna scream." he frantically stood up, starting to concern the group. well except from ivy and grace who figured with his line of dramatics it was most likely something insignificant.

"why are we screaming?" madi asked, sitting up so she could see what he was freaking out about. even matt looked up from his phone, who made it very clear earlier he was extremely disinterested in the movie they chose.

"i cant open it- gracie you do it i can't even look." he continued to leave them without context dropping the phone in her lap. grace furrowed her eyebrows as she grabbed the phone and looked at it. it was shut off, so it confused her on what he wanted her to open for him.

"it's a black screen?"

"so open it? c'mon grace, common sense." ivy spoke as if it was obvious and she just rolled her eyes, putting the password into jackson's phone and looking at whatver he left opened.

it was just his email, with a bunch of them left unopened. she quickly read the headliners for all of them to figure out what he wanted her to look at. once she realized she gasped, shutting off the phone herself and dropping it again in her lap. she hadn't even opened it.

"what? what?" nick asked, his interest peaking because of the same reaction they both gave.

"it's the answer from the audition." she answered and ivy's eyes widened as she grabbed the phone to see for herself.

"what did it say?"

"i don't know i'm too scared to open it." jackson shook his head with his hand covering his eyes.

"jackson just open it." ivy handed the phone back to the boy but he wouldn't accept it. this was too big of a deal. it was too big.

jackson was trying so hard since he was a kid to make it as an actor. and yeah he had a passion for it, but he also wanted to stick it to his parents that he would actually make it as something higher than who they were.

he wasn't the only one of the three with that dream but he was the only one who wasn't scared to follow through with it. he felt like he had that weight to carry for one of his best friends. it wasn't her fault, he put it on himself, but it meant way too much for him to fail.
