"SO WHERE ARE WE GOING?" chris asked excitedly the moment gracie opened the door to the room the triplets were stay in.

"morning to you too." she laughed.

they had spent most of night talking about anything and everything. from how filming was going for jackson and grace to what was up with chris' brand and all the new drops he was about to release. most of the night was catching up, even if it had only been two weeks.

"uh you guys are going to tour the set since it's jacks and gracie's day off." matt explained and jackson nodded.

"yeah— wait how did you guys coincidentally come on our three days off." he furrowed his eyebrow and madi pointed at matt.

"he had it all planned out."

"okay anyways—" matt tried to divert the attention from himself and looked to gracie who took the seat on the floor next to him.

"you said 'you guys' where are you going?" she questioned him quietly as the rest of their friends went into their own little world.

"oh um, i was uh actually wondering if you didn't mind coming out with me. just the two of us." he pursed his lips and she did everything she could in her to fight back a blush.

"like a...?" she trailed off, too scared to ask the question and matt's eyes widened. he was scared she didn't like the idea so he denied it quickly.

"like a date? no no- uh more like just two friends going out." he covered up and her face somehow visibly dropped.

"oh."

"you don't wanna—" he started and she just shook her head and interrupted him before he got the wrong idea. again.

c'mon matt just pick up what i'm putting down.

"no no of course! am i dressed appropriately for whatever we're doing?" she asked him and he finally took a look at her outfit. she looked cute, and now he was panicking.

should he admit he wanted it to be a date? he was too embarrassed to even look her in the eyes right now but maybe denying it as a date wasn't the best idea.

"you look pretty." he said softly and her cheeks burned red on demand. matt found it more comfortable when he was reminded that he had as much of an effect on her than she had in him. it made everything in his mind more peaceful when it came to all the overthinking he did with her.

"thank you."

"we should get going, our director gave us a time frame when we're allowed to go there." jackson then broke the small little world the two were in and they realized once again that they weren't alone.
