- "GRACIE YOU GOT CASH ON YOU?" jackson asked as they walked into the movie theatre and the girl shook her head.
"i have like five bucks in cash." she offered and he just shook his head, dismissing the question.
"never mind then. vee you got any?"
"since when do i carry cash jackson?" she blankly stated and he just shot his hands up in defense.
"geez i was just asking."
"did you forget your card again?" gracie sighed and the boy just nodded sheepishly.
"i forgot my wallet because i didn't need my license." he pursed his lips and grace just nodded as she linked her arm with his and they made their way into the line.
"just send the money i'll pay."
"oh you're right, we can dip a toe in the daddy's money part of your bank account." jackson teased and the girl rolled her eyes, trying to push him away but he just held on to her tigheter so he wouldn't tumble down.
"oh shut up."
"pay for me too gracie and i'll get the snacks." ivy stated and she nodded, immediately going to choose their seats. madi had already told them where her and the triplets were sitting so she chose the seats right next to those.
"i wonder where they are." grace scrunched up her nose as she looked around, getting on her tippy toes as she looked around the already crowded theatre.
almost as if madi could read her mind, grace got an incoming call from the girl. she picked it up immediately, still looking around for the group of friends they were tagging along with for the night.
"gracie- okay i'm like right here, no a little to the right- no my right not yours." madi tried to explain and grace furrowed her eyebrows as she looked around the concession stands. "rig—right here! look chris is waving very dramatically." she laughed and so did grace when she spotted the group.
"okay i'll see you in a couple seconds." she hung up and led her two friends towards the triplets and madi, a smile plastered on her face.
"GRACIE!" madi cheered, immediately embracing the girl. "do you guys do hugs or—" she questioned as she turned towards jackson and ivy and they nodded, greeting the girl as well.
"look it's my two favorite mac and cheese addicts." jackson grinned when he saw madi and matt standing next to each other and grace snorted, covering her mouth to stop the laugh.
"ahh and our favorite panera bread employees. if we hang out more often does that mean you'll give us the employee discount." matt questioned, playing along with the joke and jackson laughed before blankly staring back at matt.
