- GRACIE WALKED INTO MATT'S ROOM, finding ivy scrolling through her phone in a bored manner. gracie knew she was just locking herself in there to avoid the idea of facing everyone and especially facing chris.
but then gracie had given her a day. now it was time to give her just a nudge.
"chris' coming in here in two minutes to talk. and then were all going to the beach lile a nice and healthily communicated friend group." she handed her the bathing suit ivy packed just in case and a cover up befroe walking out the room without another.
ivy sat there gaping, not even having a chance to say a word to the girl. the shut behind her and ivy blinked, not even knowing how to process any of that.
gracie on the other hand happily skipped down the stairs and plopped herself onto the couch. upstairs- chris was being dragged down the hall into his brothers room.
"let.me.go." chris struggled as matt and nick dragged him to the front of matt's door and the two resisted.
"talk to her."
"no."
"gracie and jacks are only going to be here one more day and we've barely all hung out. talk. to. her." matt put his hand on the door knob and chris scoffed, standing up straight and fixing his clothes once they let go of him.
"i tried!"
"chris." nick narrowed his eyes and the boy rolled his eyes in response.
"fine whatever, but if she fucking ignores me i'm not trying ever again." he put his hand on the door and then his brother's watched as his tough guy demeanor changed.
he was nervous. matt could see it.
but he stepped away anyway, dragging nick down to the living room to make sure he wasn't listening in.
