Sorry that it's so short. Wanted to give you guys something.
"You know we don't have to race right?" Stormcloud licked his chest and smiled at WolfClaw.
"I know that. Just needed to see you loss to me."
WolfClaw rolled her eyes at him. He opened his mouth again, but stopped. StormCloud purred instead. He jumped down from the log and crouched. WolfClaw spotted a rabbit he was watching.
She jumped to the other side and started stalking towards it. Before the rabbit could smell or sense her, StormCloud jumped at it. The rabbit ran right into her paws.
"Good catch." StormCloud said.
"You spotted it before I noticed it."
"We sure are a good team." He said. His blue eyes stayed on her, sweet and gentle. She felt fuzzy. She felt like she could melt with his smile on her.
A bird flow over head, and she jumped back.
WolfClaw realized that after the battle, shed been jumpy. She felt anxious, and wanted to just run all her steam off. She sighed and glanced at Stormcloud.
He had returned to normal and was holding the rabbit up.
"Want to sharping that eye of your's?"
