For what seemed like forever, Wolfpaw healed. After two days she was able to walk by herself. WhiteRose stated that she would heal faster with some training. Though Ashstar didn't say yes to staying, she did say she could have a mentor. And she got Owlsong. The gentle cat was patient with Wolfpaw, who often fell during practice. Dovepaw, who was training with her, said that Owlsong's brother, AdderStep, was a complete opposite. Hope I don't meet him anytime soon.
"So if you crouch down like this, and push up on your back feet, you'll go further than you usually do." Dovepaw explained. Wolfpaw tried to copy. "Like this?"
"Yea, but push you feet back more, and relax." Owlsong said from her spot under the tree. Wolfpaw took a big breath, positioned her self, and jumped... At the same time, Stonepaw came into view a run in front of her!
The two tumbled on the ground. "Perfect." Owlsong called, laughing.
Wolfpaw and Stonepaw entwined,shacking off dust.
"What are you doing here? I thought you left for patrol?" Stonepaw shifted uncomfortably. "I'm worried about Rockpaw. He still isn't back yet."
Wolfpaw sighed. This again.
Yes, she was worried. No... Worried wouldn't de the word. More like terrified, freaking out, going crazy scared. She loved each of her brothers, no mater what they did. And when one goes missing, she goes frantic.
Once when they were kits, Windpaw had run off with Stonepaw. Wolfpaw had gone crazy looking for them, and only when they came back, drenched with water, did she calm down. The habit of knowing everything slowly fell away as she aged, but she still felt it inside.
"What are we goina do Raven?" Stonepaw looked up at her pleading.
"Rockpaw just needs some time to think. He'll be back before you know it!" This reassured them both. He left quietly, and Dovepaw and Wolfpaw started their training again.
