WolfClaw stared at Foresttail's body. His eyes were closed. She didn't know if he was dead or alive, and she hadn't seen who did it. 

The clearing was loud, cats frantic to find out what had happened. The leaders on top of the rock pile were trying to climb down, but there were too many cats pushing around, that they couldn't jump down. The only leader that wasn't on it was NightingStar, who was looking over the body with WhiteRose. 

WhiteRose leaned her ear on his chest, then let out a sigh.

"He's alive, but he needs to be moved back to the camp." She looked at NightingStar. He nodded, "Do what you can. Get anyone you can to help carry him back."

"I'll help." StormCloud said, hurrying to them. With help from DuskStorm and RussetClove, Foresttail was carried away to the camp.

WolfClaw shivered as a breeze swept through her coat and away, into the shadows of the forests.

"Are you sure you're ok." StormCloud whispered. She and the others had arrived back from the gathering. She had asked to be on guard for tonight, and was surprised when DuskStorm said ok. WolfClaw was now sitting beside the entrance, talking to the restless StormCloud.

"Yea, I'm fine." She gave him a stop-pressing look, making him stop.

"I'm just worried. No one saw who attacked, not even the cats standing beside him! They saw a cat, but it just vanished. Like it was made of air."

Air?

"What? Like a shadow or something?"

"Yea." He looked at her with a concern face. She rolled her eyes. Instead of talking, they looked up at the stars. The camp was quiet, but not eerie quiet. It was peaceful. And the stars seemed brighter then normal. WolfClaw glance at StormCloud out of the corner of her eye. His eyes were closed. Then he turned to her.

"Have you ever... thought about what you want to do in the future."

"I-I guess I never thought about it."

"What about becoming a mate?" 

WolfClaw's heart skipped a beat. She stared at him in amazement.

"StormCloud I-"

"I NEED HELP!" A cry came from the medicine den. WolfClaw jumped up. Leafpaw appeared at the entrence.

"Quickly!" She cried when she spotted them, "It's ForestTail!" StormCloud looked at WolfClaw with a worried look. They ran into the medicine den.

WhiteRose was holding ForestTail, her coat red with blood.

"Get me some cobwebs. Stormcloud, push against the wound to stop the blood."

Leafpaw darted to the storage, and StormCloud hurried forward. WhiteRose moved and he replaced her. WolfClaw stood helpless as the three cats worked. Leafpaw raped the cobwebs on his wound. That's when he woke.

"Get away!" ForestTail cried, kicking StormCloud in the rips. 

"ForestTail! Stop that. Eat this." WhiteRose commanded, but he pushed the seeds she offered away.

"I don't need help," He said, spitting blood on the floor,"I feel fine." He tried getting up, but his strength he thought he had was gone, so he fell back down. WhiteRose tried getting close, but he hissed.

WolfClaw tried creeping around him, but there wasn't enough room. WhiteRose saw this.

"Everyone out." She commanded. Leafpaw started to protest, but WhiteRose waved her tail.

"Just me and ForestTail."

Stormcloud backed out, and they followed. They all sat quietly outside, no one daring to speak. WolfClaw could hear WhiteRose talking, sometimes ForestTail yelling. 

What was wrong she wondered. 

After some time, WhiteRose appeared. She looked tried.

"I tried. But he lost to much blood. H-he's dead."

Yea! I had trouble with this chapter, but i finally finished it!

Sad, but done.
