The Fire Within

Chapter 20

#20!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU TELL I'M HAPPY?! NOOOOO?! WELL, I'M TEXT YELLING!    In honer of all the fans and members of Clans of Fans and The Fire within, I will be dedicating each next chapter to a Wattpad pep! WolfClaw trotted beside StormCloud, sighing when a small breeze flow through her fur. StormCloud laughed. "It looks like someone's happy." She beamed at him.

"I'm just so excited! We're going to the gathering, and I'll get to see ShadowClaw!" She bounced in front of him like a hyper kit, "And now that we aren't attacking each other, Cloud clan can get some help if they need any."

He gave her a doubtful look. "Just because you and RockFur talked to NightingStar, doesn't mean he will ask the clans to give up one of there warriors to help them. Even if they do, Cloudclan might not except. They're still jumpy around Mistclan, and they are still paranoid about that disease."

He has a point. She thought. She shrugged and glanced to her left. Mistclan was walking near them. Now that the clans was calmer together, some cats were greeting each other. Almost as if the battle had never happened.

She looked around for ShadowClaw, and spotted DeadBark, who was walking towards her.

He waved his tail in a hello as he approached her. "Hey, WolfClaw. How are you?" 

She smiled back, "Great, how about you?" 

He gave her a shrug, "I'm ok. Oh, ShadowClaw wanted me to tell you the news, since she couldn't make it." He purred with happiness, "We have kits!"

WolfClaw gasped, "Really! Oh, I'm so happy for her! Tell her I can't wait to see her and them!" 

DeadBark laughed, "Ok, I'll remember to tell her." He glanced at StormCloud, who was watching, "How is Fire clan holding up?"

"Well, we've got a new deputy and leader, but things seem really calm around here." StormCloud replied. DeadBark nodded, "Yea, the clans seem really calm after the battle. It's odd." 

"Cloudclan doesn't know much about the battle." WolfClaw reminded them, "And Darkclan probably doesn't even know it took place." The toms nodded.

"I hope it stays calm though." StormCloud murmured.

DeadBark slowed down. They were close to the meeting spot.

"Will SilverStar report your kits?" WolfClaw asked. DeadBark shrugged, "I'm not sure."

StormCloud glanced at NightingStar, "I'm pretty sure NightingStar will report Patchkit/paw."

DeadBark looked at them, "Who's Patchkit? Is it a new fire clan kit?"

"Oh, sorry. Yea, she came before you visited the camp. Adderstep and me found her alone." WolfClaw explained. DeadBark twitched his ears, "What was a kit doing alone? Was she a kittypet or a rouge?"

He has a point. She realized, Patchkit had come out of no where, and she know nothing about the kit.

"I'm not sure. But she probably isn't bad." StormCloud said, "She's a sweet cat."

DeadBark nodded, "Well see you later." He raced away to join his clan. 

WolfClaw gave StormCloud a smile and walked into the gathering place,
