Special: The Clans

Today I'm going to tell you about Fireclan, Darkclan, Cloudclan, and Mistclan.

These for clans are located on a wild life preserve, explaining why they almost never see humans. Though I don't know exactly what state or country they're in, they do live near mountains. The clans were established surprisingly by wolves. The wolves' territory was bigger then all the clans' combined (Because they're pretty big). When they moved to the mountains, they found cats to take their place and protect their old stomping grounds. Those cats were Mist, Fire and his sister Tree, Darknight, Cloudy Sky. (These cats shortened their names when they became leaders.)

First up, the famous Fireclan.

Fireclan is located north of the clans. It's a forest based area, and is famous for it's summer fires. Cats from other clans often call Fireclan the "Hot-Heads of the forest." Fireclan cats are usually orange and gray furred, the color Fire and Tree had. They eat mostly vole, squirrel and birds. Apprentices learn to climb trees and run through rough, forest terrain. Warriors are know to be loyal and brave, and very stubborn. Fireclan is the only clan with territory they share with their neighbor, Darkclan (Not shown on the map above. The area I'm talking about has a lake and used to be the border of both clans. They now use it as a way to communicate and sometimes to compete against one another).

Darkclan is a very unique clan. Their camp used to be the camp of wolves, and there are even caves with paw prints that have turned from mud to stone on the floors. Darkclan's territory is sitting on a labyrinth of tunnels. They have a cave for training, a cave for emergencies, and even one for fresh kill! Darkclan doesn't usually share or show their caves and tunnels, but they will boast about them! Once, an apprentice and warrior got lost in one of the unmarked tunnels and weren't found till three sunrises. Darkclan cats are known as "moody", fearless and dark. Most cats are white and black. Darkclan's neighbors are Fireclan and CloudClan.

CloudClan. This clan has recently gone through a strange disease that weakened the clan so much, that the amount of warriors was reduce from 16 to 7. If you count off the leader, deputy, and queen, that's 4. Because of this, the other clan leaders have vowed to never attack the clan till their numbers have risen enough that they can successfully attack them. Cloud clan territory is mostly a plain and grass based. The cats here mostly eat rabbet/hare and surprisingly, fish (Reason: Cloudy Sky liked the taste of fish, and she learned how to fish from Mist, who had been doing it his whole life). Cloudclan sits beside the meeting place for both the full moon meetings and medicine cat's meetings. Cloudclan cats are known to be shy, fast runners and fast thinkers. They are usually creamy colored like sand, and tabby. 

And finally, Mistclan. Mistclan is known for it's waterfall and fish. Mistclan cats all know how to fish and swim, along with hunting frogs and running in mud. Their camp rests under a cliff. This cliff holds up a waterfall that falls down to a stream the runs around the camp. Mist cats have mostly black & white, and striped coats. They're very stubborn like Fireclan cats, but also fearless like Darkclan cats. (But even though this, they were actually the ones to offer Cloudclan a chance to attack them when they grew strong enough. They planed a "no deaths battle" that would be near the empty area between two rivers. Afterward, the medcine cats would team up and help wounded from both sides, then they would feast together. Next, at the next clans meeting, they would give a full report on Cloudclan's recovery and strength.)

Now alliances. Even though the clans won't say out loud, I believe there are alliances between the clans. I think the if there was a war between clans, Darkclan would team up with Fireclan, and Mistclan with Cloudclan (If Cloudclan hasn't already claimed neutrality yet). I knew for sure that the probability of either Darkclan and Fireclan teaming with Mist clan is low. Mistclan has attack Darkclan in the past, and a Mistclan cat has murder cats from Fireclan (Hint: HailStream!!!!). And I don't think anyone would dare attack Cloudclan after the peace pact thing.
