WolfClaw lay in her next, curled next to RockFur and StoneHeart. She couldn't sleep. Not only did she have a tail in her face, but StoneHeart was snoring. Again.
Ugh! I'm not going to get any sleep in here. She tip toed to the exit, barely stepping over AmberTree's tail. She was happy when she finally got out. The almost full moon cast shadows around the camp. She could see WindFern on guard at the entrance. He looked half asleep, but glanced up at her. She waved her tail hello as she passed him, then headed to a small stream near the camp. When she reached it, she dipped her head to lap the cool water.
A branch snapped, and she looked up. She froze when she saw to large eyes staring back at her. She felt like her feet had grow roots as she stared. A large fox was watching her. It's eyes twinkled as if it was laughing at her shook. She felt her paws moving before she told them to. She was up a tree before you could say go. WolfClaw stared down at the fox again.
It looked like it was losing interest in her, and turned to the stream WolfClaw had just stood at. He lapped his own share, then walked silently away, without a single glance back at her.
What? Aren't foxes ferocious monsters that attack on site?

"You look like you saw a badger." StoneHeart told her. WolfClaw, StoneHeart and Dovepool where laying in the shade of a tree. The sun was at it's peak, and she hadn't told anyone yet about the fox. She didn't sense a reason to talk about it anyway. A patrol had found it's tracks and had everyone on alert anyway.
She gave him a small smile. "Just tired, I guess."
Dovepool licked her paw. "Me too. Some cat was soo loud last night."
StoneHeart stuck out his tongue at her, "Well, you should have woken me up."
"We did. Twice." She smiled, "You could sleep through a flood."
WolfClaw laughed, "I agree. The twolegs will be running to shut him up after last night." She teased. Stoneheart fake cried.
"You cats are meanies."
"That's what sisters are for silly!"
"And Friends!"
