I gasp, sitting bolt upright in bed. I look to my left, Futaba sleeping peacefully. I yawn, and Morgana hops up into my lap.
"Akira, what's wrong?" I shake my head chuckling.
"Nothing Mona. Just had a strange dream." Futaba yawns as well. I hadn't meant to wake her.
"Oh yeah? What did you dream about?" I shake my head, chuckling. "I dreamt that you had lost your memories of me. It was weird, full of Anime references, and a confusing plot that had no right to be so bizarre. But it's alright. Let's just try and get back to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow, don't we, Doc?"
Mona hops off my lap, and I lay back down, Futaba cuddling into my chest. I love her... And if Maruki tries to hurt her tomorrow, I will make him pay.
