☆Paintbrushes & Chocolate- ErrorInk

Plot: Ink was painting, which was distracting him from his cuddle time with Error. Despite his aggressive nature, Error wasn't going to let that happen

"Ruru! I'm going to go work on my painting now!" Ink called from downstairs to his boyfriend upstairs.

Error sat criss-crossed on the floor of his little workroom that Ink made for him, sewing on a pair of eyes for his latest doll. Though he looked a bit when he hear Ink's voice echoing from downstairs.

"'Kay!" He called back, almost pricking himself with the needle due to not paying attention.

Ink smiled and walked into his art room, getting all of his paints and brushes out to get back to work on his latest creation and, by extention, his favorite painting yet.

For a while the two of them stayed in heir separate rooms, not bothering each other or even noticing that the whole out was quiet, at least until Error finished the doll and snapped back into reality. The silence of the house was weird, and something he's not used to. Usually it's only quiet when Ink is either asleep or working, and lately Error had been working too so he didn't notice.

He picked up his phone and realized that he still had a good while until him and Ink had to leave for Blueberry's birthday party, so he decided that cuddle time with Ink and a quick nap would be the best course of action.

Using a shortcut, Error went downstairs and into the kitchen, grabbing one of his many bars of chocolate and opening it before leaving for Inks art room.

He walked in and saw Ink standing in front of a mostly painted canvas, unknown of his presence until he took a few steps into the room.

Ink looked over and smiled, "oh, hi Ruru! Did you finish your doll already?" Error nodded, taking another bite of his chocolate while walking over and wrapping his arms around Inks torso. He lifted the chocolate a bit so Ink could take a bite before taking another bite himself. "Is everything alright, Error?" Ink asked, a little concerned. Error again didn't say anything. Just nodding his head an laying his skull against Inks shoulder.

Ink just shrugged an got back to painting, pretty much ignoring Error from that point, and that didn't sit well with the glitch. Error groaned in annoyance and sat down on the beanbag that Ink kept in the room, angrily finishing the chocolate bar. He balled up the wrapper and threw it at Ink, hitting the skeleton in the back of his head and causing him to quickly turn around.

"Error," Ink whine, throwing the wrapper back at his boyfriend, "you almost messed me up! This is an important present for Blue!"

Error chuckled, "C'mon, Ink, you're practically done with it. What else could you possibly add to it? Besides, you've been working on that for a few hours now, I think you deserve a break."

Ink sighed and shook his head, "Sorry Ruru, just a few more details to add and then I'll be done." Error huffed and stood from his seat, leaving the room a little more aggressively than intended.

What was Errors problem? Did he have a bad day already? But if he did, he wouldn't have hugged Ink when he walked in. Ink couldn't help but think about what was wrong with his boyfriend, so much that it was distracting him from the painting. Stepping back for a moment, Ink realized that Error was right, hewas basically done with his work and he had just pushed Error away because he was such a perfectionist when it came to painting.

Ink had made his decision. He put his paintbrushes down and packed away all of his supplies before leaving the room in a search for his boyfriend.

"Ruru! There you are!" Ink said when he noticed Error sitting on the kitchen counter. He ran over and wrapped his arms around Error as best he could, "I'm sorry if I upset you."

Error sighed a placed his freshly opened chocolate bar down, wrapping his arms around Ink. "I'm not mad at you, Kiki."

Ink smiled brightly and got onto the counter next to Error, "then what was wrong?" Error blushed and looked away from Ink, no wanting to answer. Though based on this reaction, Ink figured it out on his own. "Awe, we're you just feeling lonely and wanted cuddles?" Error groaned as his face lit up with a blush, causing Ink to laugh.

"Shut up..." Error said, punching Ink in the arm before getting off of the counter and walking to the living room. Ink followed, still laughing while also trying to convince Error that he wasn't laughing at him.

Error layed on the couch, not surprised when Ink layed on top of him. They smiled at each other, giving a quick yet loving kiss as they wrapped their arms around each other.

"You could've told me that you wanted cuddles earlier, ya know," Ink commented, getting comfortable ontop of Error.

"I know," Error replied, leaning his head back against one of the many couch pillows and letting out a content sigh. He was starting to get tired, a nap did sound good right now. He brought up the idea to Ink, who thought for a moment.

"I guess so, we do have about three hours till Blue's party."

Error smiled and pulled Ink close to him as he closed his eyes, "Great. I love you, Kiki."

Ink smiled and layed his head against Errors chest, "I love you too, Ruru."
