Plot: After a long day at work, you come home and have a cute and relaxing night with Rouxls

You sigh in relief as you shut the door to your home, the long day coming to a close along with it. It's not like the day was stressful, just long and tiring and now you wanted nothing more than to be at home with your sweet and loving boyfriend, Rouxls. Speaking of which, you had a present for him, and yet he wasn't in sight, though that was subject to change.

"Three...two...one..." you mumbled to yourself. Perfectly timed and on cue, you heard a small crash from upstairs before Rouxls appeared at the top of the stairs. His face lit up when he saw you.

"Greetings, Y/N! Welcomest home," he said sweetly, running over to you and engulfing you in a hug.

"Hi, Rouxls," you said as you hugged him tightly. Eventually he did release you from his grasp to allow you to make your way upstairs to change out of your work clothes. "How was your day?" You ask him as you place your work bag down and begin to change.

Rouxls sat down on the bed, "good, how wast yours?"

Not trying to ruin his cheery mood, you said, "it was fine, I'm just glad to be home with you." After saying the last bit, you gently kissed his cheek before making your way over to your bag. "By the way, I have a present for you."

"Whomst, me? You shouldn't have," he said, perking up a bit.

You roll your eyes and chuckle as you stand up. "Sure I do, besides, I don't think you'll wanna refuse this one."

His face lit up by the gift in your hand. I was a jar full of dirt and worms. Recently he had bought himself a small tank to contain the worms he collects, but there haven't been a lot around recently. So, like the good partner you are, spent some of your spare time collecting a few.

He happily grabbed the jar and watched with pure joy as the worms moved around, it was quite a cute sight.

"Thanketh thou! I shall be back!" He said and rushed out of the room to what you assumed to be his worm tank downstairs.

You ran a hand through you hair and sighed with contentment, "it's good to be home," you said as you made your way downstairs as well.

Rouxls was making sure the dirt was perfectly placed before pouring the fresh dirt and worms you had given him into the tank as well, watching as the worms burrowed themselves into the dirt. You didn't want to ruin his focus, but there were still a few things you had to do before you could fully relax.

"Have you eaten yet, Card?" You said, successfully gaining his attention.

"No, but I madeeth food earlier. We shall dine together!" He said, rushing over and taking your hand before dragging you into the kitchen. You noticed two plates of (your favorite food) already made and set at the table. He pulled a chair out for you to sit in, "relax, I shall grab you a drink," he said, not taking long to return and hand you a glass. He sat down next to you and proceeded to listen to you talk about your day and you listened to him talk about his, it was nice. Before you knew it, dinner was over and Rouxls was helping you clean up before you both got ready for bed.

Once you both were ready for the night, you walked over behind Rouxls and wrapped your arms around his waist and lied your head on his shoulder. "I have a genius idea. Wanna make a blanket fort and watch movies?" He nodded and quickly helped you grab every blanket and pillow in sight.

The fort didn't take long to build, and soon enough you both were snuggled up in the fort with a blanket over you.

You lied your head on Rouxls chest and grabbed the remote. It didn't take long for Rouxls to wraps his arms around you and squeeze you tightly. As you put on yours and Rouxls favorite movie, you noticed him sneaking glances at his worm tank. You chuckled, gaining his attention.

"What?" He asked, smiling at you.

"Don't tell me you love your worms more than me now," you said, not serious in the slightest.

He laughed and kissed your head, "nonsense. They are nothing compared to my favorite worm. That is, if you'd like to be my worm."

You laughed before giving him a quick kiss on the lips, "Alright, Card, I'll be your worm. Ready to watch the movie now?" He nodded and turned his attention to the screen.

Rouxls POV

Once the credits began to roll after the movie, I looked down at Y/N to ask if they wanted to watch another one. I smiled to myself when I saw that they were fast asleep, snuggled close to my chest.

They are so cute and special to me, I am lucky to have them and be able to call them my partner. And it's not because they give me presents, though the worms were an added bonus. They're is nobody out there who is as special to me as them.

I didn't think I could take them up to our room without waking them up, so I just turned off the TV and pulled the blanket up further. They smiled in their sleep and snuggled closer to me. I kissed the top of their head and closed my eyes.

"Goodnight, my sweet worm," I whisper before finally falling asleep.
