[ What's The Worst That Could Happen?]
It took Raki atleast three seconds to perceive that right about then, she should put an end to the way she was abstractly gazing at his supposed fiancé as if he had just said the most bloodcurdling sentence known to human kind. Well, to an extent, he did.
And no, she wasn't trying to flirt with his older brother when he was there, present beside her. Not even when he was nowhere near, she could guarantee that.
Raki stood on her toes in hopes to relay her denial to his towering ear. "I believe that you have misunderstood."
Jeonghan lowered his head in return, the side of his face extremely close to her own. "Enlighten me then."
However, she didn't had enough presence of mind to acknowledge how mortifying their state escalated, rather, all that was in her head was the thought of proving to him that she was just merely looking at his older brother and trying to recall where it was that she had met him. Nothing more.
"I just find your older brother a tad familiar.", She was barely audible, making sure Seungcheol wouldn't get to hint of how they were talking about him.
"Is it an 'I had a relationship with him back then' type of familiar?"
She was having a headache because of him, to say the least. "Can you please stop assuming things.", Her whisper somehow sounded more louder than her normal speaking voice, hence being unintentionally heard by Seungcheol.
Jeonghan moved away to look at her face, forgetting that they should be talking under their breath's. "I'm not. That's why I'm asking."
"And I've already told you—"
"Sorry to interrupt.", They both looked at Seungcheol whom just had felt that it was his cue to leave already. "Please excuse me. I'll leave you two now.", His attention were on Jeonghan when he gave a slight pursed smile.
Jeonghan gave him a little space opposite to where Raki was for him to pass by, and things just sort of went by, as if nothing had just happened and they were really just bound to leave that place, but if anything, Jeonghan wasn't still over their argument, both out of curiousity and to tease her for pleasure.
For most of the time when Jeonghan would leave his parents' home, he would feel nothing but the persistent feeling of resentment, and he knew that he didn't feel those for no reason at all.
He knew he hasn't done anything without a justifiable reason.
However, as he tend his gaze to Raki whom was walking beside her towards the gate to bring themselves outside, he found himself feeling something different, something unusual, something that made him covertly smile.
His eyes remained on her for awhile, and she was completely clueless about it, needless to say; before a mischievous grin plastered on his lips as he let out an obvious sigh.
"I see you haven't enlighten me yet.", He broke the silence, and Raki, very aware of his intention, slowly looked at him in disbelief.
"We're over that.", She dragged the words, letting him know that, that topic already bore her out.
"Why is my older brother familiar to you?", He knew how stubborn he was, and he was having fun. . well, at least he believed he was.
"I just find him a teensy bit familiar, I'm not certain of anything else."
Now that they had went back to that topic, Raki couldn't help but to then again search in every part of her brain on where the hell had she seen her fake fiancé's older brother.
