[ I've Been Very Busy Fake Dating These Days, My Parents Would Go Haywire ]
Perhaps, Raki got vaguely carried away by her concern towards him when she saw his piteous state and without a doubt agreed to go to his place and even went along with how they shouldn't be anywhere else.
It made her apprehensive to some degree, getting the few first sight of his place once again. She didn't even know what she was expecting. .
Or maybe that was the problem, maybe she was expecting too many bizarre things before the actual case could happen.
Wether it was the idea of moving to his place and living with him, or just simply having that short visit for him to get a change of clothes, she was presuming things that made her ill at ease, in such a way that if ever she does happen to take the ultimate risk and get downright satisfied with it, she was frightened of the inevitable pain that comes along in the end.
"Do you know what our current situation is trying to tell us now that you're here again at my place?", Jeonghan questioned with a smile plastered on his pale face, prolonging the journey to his room even if he was obviously freezing.
Raki fixated her attention to him, already having the major idea of what he was going to say. "What?"
"That you should consider my offer and move in with me."
She still scoffed despite his predictable answer. "We're already a month into the agreement.", She has been counting, and she was torn between two completely different reasons as her actual grounds. "You can't expect me to move in and out in a span of two months."
He shifted his eyes to wherever that didn't contain a glimpse of her. "No one's asking you to move out.", He said in a monotonous way, increasing the speed of his walk.
"It's an unspoken rule.", Raki reasoned out and she adehered so, that when a person moves in to another person's place, it's a given for the former to move out when they are no longer acquainted.
He had that look of disappointment, yet he didn't seem like he actually was, "There's the unspoken rule again."
"Don't you remember saying it first?", It was more like she was giving a matter of fact, than it being a question like how she constructed it.
Jeonghan scoffed as a sign of giving in. "You give too many reasons."
She instantly replied as if it was a continuation of his words, smiling in a condescending manner. "And you give too many offers for me to come up with those many reasons."
He pretended to be vexed by faking an eye roll. "If I was offered a place, I would accept it.", He held the doorknob of his bedroom's door and gradually pushed it open.
"Really?", She assumed he wasn't the type of person to do such.
"No.", He answered, quick and with an endearing grin, and as concerning as it was for her, her heart was doing something that made her acknowledge that it was there and was more than alive, and right there and then, she felt all the comfort withdrawing from her body.
Jeonghan briefly brought his gaze on the floor and breathed out a chuckle.
"I'll just get in and change my clothes real quick."
She didn't know why his mere voice flustered her to a substantial extent, as if from beyond that moment, she will repeatedly be deprived of her composure every second he was around. "No, you can— you can take your time."
There was just really something about his smile that she couldn't put her mind to be aware of why it was causing so much disarray to her state of mind, along with the rapid pumping inside her chest.
