[ The Void I Never Want To Fall In ]

They say, it's inevitable for a person to not be confused in certain points in their life, and a little of that could lead to something dementing.

It's a dilemma, most of the time, people tend to bottle inside their minds, yet, finding the reasons would require a particular effort, something active, or sentient.

And Raki didn't know if the kiss counted as an item of  a sort of effort, his effort, needless to say, however, she was beginning to apprehend some answers, a fraction of reasons, or possibly, the entire thing.

There are times when a person understands an idea after it happens the second time around, the same way Raki had understood something from their current situation after recalling the first.

After that first kiss, that night when everything had seemed to be common and ordinary, he became out of reach, dealt with a circumstance he didn't want her to be involved in, and even by searching for traces of him on places she used to see him in, she never saw him again.

Not until that night. Raki slowly positioned her palms on Jeonghan's chest and pushed him away, not opening her eyes out of the sheer realization, even when she has already parted the kiss.

There was the enlightenment that she had been wanting of him, yet why did she feel like everything had rather seem to gloom and darken?

Raki skimmed through his face for an indication of something, trying to predict his next move before he could even execute it. "What are your plans, Yoon Jeonghan?"

She noticed the way his eyebrows flinched, yet when her eyes glanced its way down to his lips, she couldn't resist to sink her teeth into the inside of her lower lip when the sight of his lipstick stained lips was all that her eyes had given emphasis to.

It was the first time in a long while that she had put on a deep colored lipstick, and it seemed to had look much better on him, yet make it smudged.

"What do you mean?", There was really no way of reading him when he was too quick on hiding his expressions.

Raki stifled the urges to wander her eyes close to his lips, because from all the things that she wanted to happen on that night, the last thing was for him to notice the way she might have never wanted to be the reason why that kiss had to end.

Raki gulped before saying, "You took up almost a month not being around, and you are most aware of how much time there is left for the agreement."

The resort of extending the agreement for the sake of authenticity might come to his mind, yet also for the sake of her sanity and her feelings that seemed to just get worse the more she was around him, there was no way in hell she would want to agree to that.

"I haven't thought about it yet."

Raki frowned by his answer. "Then have you even thought about what you're going to say to your parents once we're over?"

"I haven't."

"It's going to happen a month from now."

He hesitated to speak for a moment. "I know, but. ."

Raki remained quiet and gave the time for him to continue, yet there was nothing. He was as silent as she was, waiting for him to tell her why he haven't been thinking of the matter as much as he rather should be. It was his matter to begin with.

She thought she wasn't ever going to admit it to him, however, "Those nights when we would walk down the streets after a dinner with your parents, I really liked talking to you, Jeonghan.", She began, and she meant every word, yet it felt a lot awful to say those words as if they were all in history, than it was when they were still part of her subconscious. "But, you don't sound so rational right now."
