[ There Is No One Like You To Me ]
"You shouldn't have done that."
Seungcheol stood still, his gaze fixed on his Mom as much as her's was on him, guilt slowly surging into him with everything his Mom was throwing on to him.
In moments like those, they should be there for one another, comfort the ones whose had it difficult to bear the most, no one should be hurt, no one should be leaving, warm somehow and be upset for the right reasons.
"He has it difficult as much as we do."
Victoria attempted to calm Mrs. Yoon by caressing her shoulder, and at the same time silently signalling Seungcheol, asking him to make better judgements. Apparently, he was already on it to doing just that.
Not that he was used to doing the otherwise. He couldn't believe it himself, the way he lost himself and threw his misery on Jeonghan, when he knew Jeonghan wouldn't mean harm despite the conditions he had with their father.
"You saw him when he came, he didn't know any better. Why don't you understand him just a little bit more?"
More. A little bit more.
Following a few seconds of still silence, Chan worked up the courage to interfere with his Mom and older brother. "Why don't you drive after him?", He walked a little closer towards his Mom before quietly gesturing to Seungcheol that he will take care of the matter in front of him, while Seungcheol would with the other. "It might turn out bad this time."
After one last look to his Mom, Seungcheol took a couple of steps back, then after the fourth, enough to let everyone know that he was leaving, turned to make his way to the door.
He had no idea how far has Jeonghan drove, or where he was headed nor where he was at that very moment, yet Seungcheol drove anyway.
Perhaps after checking a place or another where Jeonghan frequents, he'd come to find him.
And after just one guess, how predictable of him, he found his car parked in front of her house. He had only been there once, when Jeonghan couldn't be there for her, and he remembered the location, so easily, willing himself to forget was possibly the harder part.
Seungcheol pulled up across the street, staring outside from his car, up to the sole illuminated window in the house.
He stared, not realizing how tight he was gripping onto the steering wheel, yet if he looked more, if he remained there outside of Raki's home all knowing that Jeonghan was with her inside, he might not be in favor of what may begin within him.
Averting his gaze from her window, he shook his head, as if he had just realized how foolish he was, for waiting, for staring too long, for behaving like he wasn't himself and Raki was unconsciously pulling him to her.
He was lost again, and there was no one to throw whatever feeling he had on someone.
In her room, seated on stools before each other, Raki smothered some ointment on the cut on Jeonghan's lip, being as gentle as she could, cautious that that little cut would actually hurt him. "How did you get this?", She asked, placing the container of the ointment on the vanity table right beside them with her other hand, the other still working on his cut, making sure that she wouldn't leave any edges uncovered.
"Seungcheol.", He only said, quietly in a way that made her eyes slowly move up to meet his.
Even without saying anything, he could tell that she wanted to know why, her eyes tell, they always do, her eyes always give her away.
