Oikawa knows better to than forgetting to leave the house without doing a couple of stretches.

Especially if today is Valentines day.

Months passed after the holidays, winters grew colder and relentless still. Oikawa could be sleeping in on a regular day. However, having to smile gratefully for hours surely got his cheeks stiff every year, and arms grow weary of holding up boxes of chocolates. Today is the day he dreads the most.

While he appreciates the sentiment of the girls, each and every year the gifts only grows larger - more strained smiling and accepting. He'd say, 'thank you for your thoughtfulness,' and 'I'll make sure to try them' nearly fifty times, leaving him exhausted after a long day. It's not exactly the most enjoyable day for someone like Oikawa Tooru.

However, the worst part is having to see girls cry when he turns down honmei chocolate.

Honmei chocolate means attachment - a romantic feeling. Accepting this kind of chocolate means he recipricates his feelings for that girl - thus leads to him rejecting numerous confessions on that day. He hates seeing them cry. Every year. Tear streaked cheeks, trembling lips, shaky voices - ah he knows these all too well.

Oikawa is a good kid. A heartbreaker, yes, but still sensitive as to how he handles other girls' feelings. Girls are fragile creatures after all. Besides, he has experienced heartbreak from his ex-girlfriend... It's exactly the best feeling to be shut down by someone whom you loved.

On another side, Oikawa could recieve Giri chocolate, chocolate for friendship. Which is why he is preparing himself, for most girls (perhaps the ones who don't favor rejection) give him Giri Choco instead.

That, he accepts.

It would be better if I brought another bag... He mused, slipping on his shooes.

When he opened the door, he did not expect what he first sees on the middle of the road.

"Yo! Oikawa!"

Fukui waves at him energetically, and it's way too early for her to be pumped up. It usually takes her until afternoon to crack a smile, but this time, she's oddly happy, an exhilarated breath escaping her lips as she greets with a grin. That's when Oikawa notices what she's wearing... and he snorted in laughter.

"Pfffft.... What's up with the outfit?" He chuckles out, "you look ridiculous...!"

"Wh-?! How dare you -!" She gestures to herself. It may look normal from the top half - the girl's school blouse, the bottom half is not exactly... pretty.

To put it simply, she is wearing a baggy pair of red sweatpants underneath her skirt.

Oikawa is well aware it is cold, but usually girls wear a warm pair of leggings underneath their skirt... not sweatpants. She looks ready to work out - and she has never even looked this dedicated about that during gym class.

"It's for today of course!" She defends herself, "those shy girls aren't going to give those chocolates to you by themselves."

Oikawa could not hold his laughter, tears in his eyes even before the sun rises. " - hahaha! So that gives you a reason to wear that?!"

"Come on! It's not even that bad."

"Yeah. Yeah it is. It actually is."

And so the two walked to school, of course, not without Oikawa showering her with teasing remarks like 'how're you gonna get chocolates from guys next month with that outfit?', 'will girls trust someone who wears sweatpants underneath a skirt?' or even some silly advice like 'change out before you give chocolate to anyone -"
