Chapter 7 Stacey Leaves For New York

Its the morning of Stacey trip to New York she is very nervous so she wakes up early she spent the last week preparing for this trip.

Maxine has put her faith totally in Stacey and thrown her in the deep end as she has not only got to cater the event by designing the menus but also plan it to the client high expectations.

Stacey has been on the phone talking to her new client and exchanging emails with them for the past week.

With Maxine's help and contacts in New York Stacey is about plan and cater her first big event with A Touch Of Class.

Stacey enters her lounge to once again check she has all her what she needs for her trip.

A few minutes later there is a surpise knock at the door she opens it standing there to her surpise was a very casual but equally handsome John.

" What you doing here?"

"I am here to take you to the airport and buy you breakfast on the way"

" Aww that so sweet of you but I have already booked my taxi"

" Cancel it Stacey I am taking you to the airport and I am not taking no for an answer. Plus I haven't seen you all week since you been so busy."

" Why you so upset John you knew I was taking this trip and you know how important this is to me that I get it absolutely perfect as this is one of our biggest clients and Maxine is counting on me"

" Yes I know but is it to much to ask to have been able to spend some quality time with my girlfriend before she leaves town for three weeks?"

" Why are you chosing to discuss this now on the day I am leaving and have about a million and one things to do before I leave in the next hour?"

John lookes into Stacey's eyes " I am sorry baby I never meant to stress you out more than you are already what can I do to help?"

" Since you insist on taking me to the airport can you take down my two suitcase by the front door and dont forget my laptop bag. I am going to check I have turned everything off I will meet you in the car."

"Ok see you down there"

Before long they where on thier way to the airport. They arrived just into time for Stacey to check in she turned around to say bye to John when she realise an extra luggage.

" John whats going on and where did that Extra luggage come from?"

" Its mines I am coming with you"

" Babe its sweet of you to want to but this is business it's not a holiday I'll be working 247 I really wont have time to be stressing about you and your needs"

" Stacey your my girl I hate the idea of being away from you for three weeks so I am planning on coming and lending a hand of support where I can"

With that the pair boarded the plane for New York.

The flight was long so Stacey used this opportunity to go over her paper work and check emails. John decided he was going to have a drink of whiskey and go to sleep.

After a eight hour flight Stacey and John arrived in New York they went straight to the hotel to catch up on some sleep they had a busy day head of them well Stacey did.

This was a short chapter as we about to find out who Stacey's client is and how John is going to react to her working all the time.
