Chapter 25 Milian Coming To An End

Staceys POV

My time in Milian is coming to an end I was having so much fun that I didnt want to leave but after speaking to Maxine I decided to return home and deal with John myself.

I cant believe he had someone following me like I am the guilty one. I am so glad Mark had left Milian before John figured out where I was.

Speaking of Mark I have been talking to him everyday either by email or phone we even video chatted from time to time.

He's  such a lovely guy and he wants me to visit him in New York once I sort out the divorce.

Tomorrow I fly back home so I decided to go out with Matthew and the gang tonight as a treat on my soon to be ex-husband.

I arrived back at the hotel after midnight and I went straight to bed.

The next morning I boarded my flight to UK.

I arrived home and switched my phone back on and sent a message to John " I am back in the country now but I aint coming home I have a house just outside brighton where I will be living I will send you my address when I get settled so you could bring Max to me also I have arranged movers to come in the morning to pack and bring my stuff."

A few mintues later he texted back

" I am not bring Max anywhere you left him so if you wont to see him you will have to arrange it with my lawyer who will be in touch with you soon".

" John he's my son I want to see him ok so just bring him this weekend or else"

" Or else what Stacey you wanted to leave and finish this marriage not me I begged you to come home but you chose to be a bitch so now deal with the consequences of what you started".

" I hate youso much I wish I never met or married you"

He didnt text back I made my way to my new house and put my bags down then I sent a text to Maxine " Hi Max I am back and settled in to the house thanks for arranging it. I hope you can manage with out me for abit longer I will find someone to replace me as soon as I can. love Stacey"

" Dont worry take your time we will manage in fact I have the perfect client for you in New York when you return a Mr Mark Jones and he asked for you personally I am sending you the details now"

I couldnt tell Maxine that I knew Mark and we spent time together in Milian because I wasnt ready to talk about our time together yet I kinda like that he was my little serect not coz I am ashamed of him in anyway but because this way I am in control and I get to see where it's going if anywhere without anyone's voice in my head or their input.

The next day I got a call from John's lawyer asking to meet with me to discuss terms of our divorce and custody of Max. So I told him I will be touch after I speak to my own lawyer and I put the phone down I wasn't  going to make John intimidate me or try to manipulate the situation like he does his business deals and his multiple women I was going to do this on my terms since he want to be so difficult he can just wait till I am ready.

I took out my ipad as my laptop was at the office lucky I left those things at work so John couldn't try any funny business. I began searching for my own divorce lawyer and I had decided to go with a company which had great reviews I contacted them to book an appointment which I happened to get in two days time which I thought was very fast.

My phone started ringing and I saw it was John I am not in the mood to talk to him so I just let it ring and go to voicemail.  After it stopped ring and I listened to the voicemail instead if getting back to John like he demanded I called Mark.

" Hey Mark"

" Hey sexy how are you and hows UK?"

" UK is fine but I am stressed out my ex husband is making it difficult for me to see my son especially now that I have moved to my own place in brighton. But I spoke to a lawyer today and I have a meeting the day after tomorrow so I cant wait to get this over with so I can live my life"

" Dont worry baby I am sure everything will sort it self out I have to rush to a meeting now but I will call you tonight I miss you Stacey"

" Ok I miss you to Mark I will speak to you later" I hang up the phone.

I went downstairs to the kicthen to make some coffee and a bowl of cereal when I heard a knock at the door I went to the spy hole to see who it was it was the removal men so I opened the door and let them in.

They brought all my stuff for me and put them in my bed room and I gave them a generous tip.

After my coffee and cereal I went back upstairs to unpack and arrange my things. My phone beeped to alert me of a message it was from my new lawyer saying has to go out of town on some emergency so could I come to the office first thing in the morning?. I quickly texted back saying "Yes will eight o clock do? " As I wanted to get the ball rolling. he texted back saying "Perfect see you then Miss Lewis"

I continued to unpacking and settle myself in to my new apartment. Maxine and I had agreed I could take leave until this mess with John was sorted.

The rest of the day went so fast before long it was evening time and I decided to go out for dinner and cheer myself up alittle as I never planned for my marriage to end but I just cant stay with John after this. I hadn't even told the girls which I would have to do at some point but I just cant face it now.

After dinner I decided to go for a quick drink in a nice little bar.

I left the bar at midnight and went home. When I arrived home I went and had a shower then I checked my emails and was about to sleep when I had a call from Mark.

" Hello baby"

" Hi Mark how was the rest of your day and your meeting?"

" It was good thanks but I didnt call to talk about work or your divorce"

" Oh so what did you call to talk about then?"

" You and I , I have been think about Milian and that wonderful kiss and I couldn't stop thinking that if you didnt stop me what would of happened I want you Stacey your a very sexy and beautiful woman I just Dont know if I can wait till you come to New York to have a taste of you"

" So what do you suggest then Mark?"

" I could be on a flight first thing if you want me to that is?"

" Ok sure why not"

" Stacey I am falling in love with you and it scares me"

" Oh Mark I fell the same way to I will see you tomorrow I have to go and sleep now I have an early appointment with my lawyer tomorrow"

" Ok goodnight my baby cant wait to see you"

" Me to night"

After I hang up the phone I got into bed and went straight to sleep.
