Chapter 21 Five Years Later Part Three

Stacey finds the messages

The next morning Stacey woke up and John had already left to go on his business trip. She gets out of bed grabs her robe and goes into the nursery.

"Good morning Mary did you sleep well?"

" Oh yes Stacey I did and I have already changed and feed Max and was hoping to go and take my shower and head home for a change of clothes"

" Thats fine Mary I was hoping you would stay here with me while John out of town to keep my company"

" Sure I dont mind I will just go home and get somethings then and I will be back soon" she said leaving the room heading towards the guest room.

Stacey picked up Max and went to her bedroom. She put max down on the bed as she heard vibrating she checks her phone but it wasnt her phone she followed the sound to the draw in the bedside table and found a phone she picked up the phone to see ten missed calls and ten messages.

Stacey looks strangely at the phone as she didnt recongise it or the numbers so she slide her finger across the screen and began to read the messages.

Stacey's heart sank she leaned over to the other side of the bed and grabbed her phone to call John and it went to voicemail.

" John call me asap"

Stacey put her phone on bed and she puts Max in his carrier and walkes over to her wardrobe and put on a pair of jeans and a t shirt.

She walked back into the bedroom and went over and got the phones and Max and went down stairs. When she got downstairs Stacey called Maxine

"Hello"

"Hey girl hows things I cant wait to come back to work I am so bored"

"Dont worry just enjoy motherhood Whats really wrong its not just boredom I can hear it in your voice?"

"Well I found John second phone and there all these texts from women but there is one in particular that I am angry about it from a woman called Anita"

" Ok it could be a client"

" Its not client trust me can you come around after work please and help me decide what to do?"

" Ok I see you around seven"

" Ok girl see you then"

" Bye"

" Later"

Stacey hangs up and goes into the kicthen and she makes lunch for her and Mary.

" Good timing I just finished the lunch"

" Great I'm straving"

Stacey POV

Later that evening Maxine came around and I showed her the messages after a few bottles of wine later we called Anita and when she answered Maxine grabbed the phone and started questioning her and cussing her.

WOW I have never seen Maxine so mad. I decided to take the phone from her and hang up.

As Maxine left John called me but I never mentioned the phone or the messages I just played it cool I would wait till he comes home before I confront him.

" Hello baby"

" I am sorry I missed your call is everything ok"

" Yes baby everything is ok I am just missing you I never meant to scare you I sorry if I did"

" Its okay baby I miss you to"

" John baby when you coming home I am very horny and I need to feel my husband inside me?"

" Soon baby I need you to just hold on for me okay baby I promise I will give you what you want and need when I get home"

We said our goodbyes and I went upstairs to say good night to Max and check if Mary need anything as she took Max upstairs when Maxine came and I havent seen her since.

" I hope we never made you feel you had to stay up here?"

"Oh no I had to make some calls anyway"

" Ok well I am going to get an early night I will see you in the morning ok Mary"

" Ok Stacey. good night see you in the morning"

Stacey leaves the nursery and goes to her room.

She remembered she forgot to tell Mary to put the baby monitor on and to jar the door so she got up and walked back towards the nursery and she heard voices coming from downstairs she turns around and heads downstairs.

When she reached half way down the stairs she recognised the voices it was Mary and what sounded like John voice " That cant be right he's in New Jersery I just spoke to him".

She thought to herself she quietly continued down the stairs and hide behind the door she could see Mary sitting in the sofa she on her laptop.

Stacey continued to listen to the conversation and it was John voice she heard for sure.

Mary was facetiming John.

Stacey turned around and was about to walk back upstairs but then she heard her husband ask their nanny what colour are her panties or if she was wearing the pair he sent to her place his morning?

" Oh baby wouldnt you like to know" Mary repiled

Stacey decided to walk in the room

" What the fuck is going on in here?" she walked over to where Mary was sitting and turned the laptop to face her so she could see her lying cheating husband

" Oh so you sent her underwear did you ok John its like that fine two can play your fucking game"

Stacey stormed out the room and went upstairs and went into her bedroom and packed a bag and sent John a text

" I SUGGEST U BRING YOUR LYING CHEATING ARSE HOME AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR FUCKING MISTRESS AND YOUR SON I AM GONE"

Her phone rang and she cut the call and switched it off she opens her door to find Mary running towards her

" Stacey I am sorry please dont go its late and your upset you cant drive in this state."

" Well you should of thought about that before you was flirting with my husband how long have you to being FUCKING?"

Stacey pushes her out of the way and went down the stairs and slammed the door on her way out.
