Chapter 8 To Stacey's surpise

The next morning bright and early Stacey wakes up and begins to prepare herself for the day ahead.

Today was the day she would meet her client for the first time. She has no idea who it is, even through see had spoken to the person.

Stacey is sitting on the sofa in her fabulous New York Penthouse suite with a view. She decides to write down some ideas for this up and coming event.

Her client had already choosen the down town country club as a venue but other than that they had left everything else upto Stacey to plan she even had to plan the menu.

So a stressed out Stacey makes a call to Maxine to see if she had anymore information on the client that could help her considering the person in question had used their services before.

After about an hour of making calls and designing menus. A very hungry Stacey call down for room service ordering two full English breakfast and a pot of coffee.

After ten minutes or maybe less there was a knock on the door Stacey went to open it but to her surpise John beat her to it.

The bellboy pushed in the breakfast trolley. John turned around and give him a tip and closed the door.

" Good morning sleepy head" said Stacey

" Good morning baby" John replied

They sat down at the table for breakfast.

" So whats the plan for today then" John said

" Well I dont know about you but I have a meeting down town with my client in an hour so I have to hurry"

With that Stacey leaves the dinning table and goes over to where she has her files and paper work and put the back in her brief case walk over to John kisses him and says " I will see you later I dont know when I'll be back but I will call you" and out the door she goes.

Stacey reaches reception and head to the front door when she heard someone calling her name " Miss Howard" Stacey turns around to see the receptionist waving a brown file she walkes up to the desk and collects the file. There's a note on the front

" Good luck this is all I could find Maxine" Stacey walked out the hotel and got into a taxi.

Arriveing at the venue chosen by her client she walks into the country club where she is greeted by a smartly dressed man who introduced himself

" Hello I am Steve you must be Miss Howard please follow me" he escorted Stacey into a small side room to where she would be meeting her client.

A few minutes later a tall dark skin man walkes into the room

" Hello Miss Howard I am Jonathan and its nice to finally meet and thank you again for travelling all this way to plan this for me"

" Please call me Stacey and it's my pleasure"

They sat down and had a glass of wine going over the plans so far that Stacey had planned.
