" I guess its time to start thinking about meeting The in-laws"
"No I think we should wait abit plus I dont really get on with my parents as they dont support my career choices my dad wanted me to be a footballer and my mum want me to be a doctor as she is a top medical doctor and CEO of a hospital in Chicago to be honest I havent spoken to them since I came to London almost five and a half years ago."
"John we cant get engaged and not tell them I understand what your saying but I want to meet them even if it's only one time please baby do it for me please"
" Ok I will just for you we will fly out over the weekend as a surpise and I will let them meet the love of my life then bounce"
"Thank you baby"
" Your welcomed and what about your parents"
"Well they died when I was young I was brought up in a childrens home I guess that why its so important to me that I meet your parents now you know how important it is to have family"
" Oh babes I am so sorry I had no idea and here I am talking about my parents like I dont even care"
" John I never told you to make you feel bad or for you to pitty me I had an ok childhood not the best I agree but not the worst either."
John just smiled at his wife to be and said "I guess I best make the plans for our little trip this weekend then" he laughed
" I think so and why are you laughing?"
" Because its kind of funny I havent been home for years not even for my mother 50th birthday party and not only am I just showing up with you but I have to tell them we are engaged I laughed because I just pictured their faces"
