Chapter 38 John and Angie

Johns POV

I woke up next morning and I was totally ashamed Angie and I had crossed the line I thought I would never cross with her.

After Mary and the way I hurt Stacey I made a promise to myself that I would not fuck another nanny. And when Angie first came to work for me I remember trying my luck just to see if I could have her and she made it clear I couldn't. So what's changed now the way she was last night I have  never seen her like that she was all over me.

I am not saying I didn't enjoy last night but I don't want things to change or become difficult. Max has to be my priority and I can't keep changing his nannies it's not fair on him.

I got out of bed and prepared myself for work. After I ironed my shirt and had my shower Angie was still asleep so I woke her up.

" Angie get up I am leaving now for the office I will see you later and then we can talk about last night"

" We just got back I thought you would have taken the day off"

" Angie just remember your here to look after Max and that's it. When I return later we will discuss last night now I have to go before I am late. Oh yeah my parents will be here this afternoon to see Max so make sure your dressed." with that I walked out the bedroom and into Max's room to kiss him before I leave.

Angie's POV

I dont believe John how could he talk to me like that he didn't say no last night so why now is he acting like it never happened.

Ok so he wants to act like we didn't fuck each others brains out last night cool I can handle that but if he thinks he gonna get away with the way he just spoke to me then he better think again.

Since he wants to go on like I am just the nanny then fine I will do my job and my job alone once he's back in this house I am off duty until he leaves in the morning.

Time to find me a fuck buddy someone hotter and sexy than mister I think I am gods gift. Then we will see who will be wanting who.

I decided to set up a profile on one of these online dating sites. I haven't done anything like this before but since I am working long hours I wouldn't really get a chance to meet men plus I dont know Chicago that well yet so I thought this would be the best way.

An hour after setting up my profile I started getting messages from all different types of men, It was quite exciting.

I didn't expect to get so many interest so quick. So for the next hour and a half while Max has his nap I was returning messages and having a laugh.

John POV
I arrived at the office just in time but I couldn't stop thinking about the way I treated Angie it wasn't all her fault and if I am honest she's right I should have taken today off to spend with Max since its been over two months that I have seen him.

I was in a total day dream when I heard my PA Susan say that it was time for our monthly budgeting meeting with the board and the finance team and they are waiting for me in the conference room.

I had totally forgotten about that meeting this morning I so wasn't in the right mind set for it. I turned to Susan and said " Tell them I'll be there in a few minutes thank you Susan"

She left my office and I walked over to the mini kicthen area I had installed and I threw water over my face " Pull yourself together John" I told myself as I made my way to the conference room.

The meeting went on right up to lunch time which I wasn't happy about but hey what could I do we had to get everything sorted and agreed by the board so I was stuck there. And all I could think about was Angie and last night and the rude way I spoke to her this morning. I will have to make it up to her the last thing I need now is for her to leave.

After my meeting I asked Susan to order some flowers and have them sent to the house.

On my way home later I will grab a bottle of wine and a take away and I will apologise to Angie properly.

The rest of the day went fast and it was now time for me to go home. I had already asked Susan to pre-order Angie's and mine's dinner from my fravourite Chinese Resturant in town and tell them I will pick it up on my way home.

I arrived home around 8pm the house was in darkness I walked into the kicthen and put the bags down I called out to Angie but she didn't answer.

I went upstairs first I went into Max's room and he was asleep but angie wasn't in there. Then I heard noises in the back room so I walked in that direction I opened the door to find Angie all dressed up

" Where are you going?"

" Out not that it's any of your business I am off the clock now so I can do what I want Max has been feed washed changed and is in bed so what more is there to do I have done my job as you put it this morning"

" Angie about this morning I am very sorry for the way I spoke to you and treated you. please dont go out I brought us dinner and a bottle of wine I even got you some of those pastries you like"

" Thanks but I all ready have plans like I said just leave my food in the fridge I will have it tomrrow"

With that she push past me and went downstairs.

Wow I couldn't believe how hot and sexy she was looking I felt my dick get hard as soon as I saw her.

I went into my room and changed my clothes and got ready for a night alone which wasn't what was suppose to happen. After seeing Angie tonight all dressed up and looking good all I wanted more than anything was to spread her on my bed.

I was very jealous when she said she was going out considering I had my own intentions and plans with her tonight.

The night is still young maybe I will wait up for her.

After I ate my food and watched a few movies I checked the time it was almost three in the morning and Angie hadn't come home yet I was starting to get worried I called her phone and it went straight to voicemail.

I waited and waited around 6:30 in the morning Angie comes home

" Angie where have you been I was worried do you know what time it is?

" John your my boss not my dad or my boyfriend."

" Angie that doesn't mean I dont care about you because I do"

I walked over to her and put my arms around her and kissed her.

I was happy when she didn't push me away so I took her by the hand and led her to my bedroom.

" John I am not going to sleep with you good night"

She pulled away and went to her bedroom.

I really like Angie but I think I have blown it with my behaviour but I am going to keep trying.

Angie POV

I can't believe my plan is actually working and it has been alot easier than I thought and I can see I am getting under John's skin all I have to do is keep this up abit long and he will be begging me to give him a chance.

As for my date it went very well indeed.

His name is Josh and he's a lawyer and we went for dinner and then onto a club and then back to his place where we had a few more drinks and a grope.

He's the perfect gentleman because  no matter how much I flang myself at him he didn't try and push it to far which was quite nice.

I have another date with him on Wednesday next week which I am looking forward to.
