Chapter 9 Back At Home

Stacey arrived home to find William standing at her door

" William what you doing here where is John I thought he would be here to welcome me home" Stacey was a little disappointed and a bit pissed considering his behaviour in New York she expected better from him.

" Miss Howard Mr Lewis asked me to come here and give you this" William pulled out a letter from his inside pocket and gave to stacey and said...

" If you decided to follow this letter I be waiting downstairs, if not then its ok"

William walks towards the exist. Stacey open the door to her apartment and puts her bags down walks over to the sofa opens the letter and read it

" My dearest Stacey I am disgusted with my behaviour I never meant to behave like a spoilt child. This last week not hearing  from you ripped out my heart. I know we havent know each other long and I know I shouldnt of assumed we were together and that I could just invite myself on your business trip then demand your attension so for that I am truly sorry. I have had some time to think whilst we have been apart and I want you to know that I am falling totally head over heels in love with you. To be honest Stacey ever since the first day I laid my eyes on you was hooked. Please join me for dinner? I hope you will come love always John"

Stacey put the letter on the table and took out her phone and sent a message to John " Thank you for the letter I am sorry to I will see you soon" She hits send and put her  phone on the table next to the letter heads to her bedroom and goes into her closet and picks out the sexiest black number she has and the highest pair of heels she owns walks out closes the door walkes over to her chest of drawers pulls out her silk black thongs and matching bra, goes to the bathroom turns on the shower strips of her clothes and gets in.

After about 30 minutes Stacey was washed dressed make up was flawless and her hair was up in a bun and she was heading out the door on her way out she grabbed her phone and keys.

An hour and half later Stacey was brought to a deserted spot Will got out the car and opened the door Stacey got out he took her by the hand and lead her down this dark path when they arrived to the destination there by the lake was a picnic basket and a bottle of very expensive wine candles and rose petals everywhere but no sign of John. Stacey turned to Will and said

" Whats going on, where is he Will" he hands her a box and walked back up the path. Stacey's heart began to pound in her chest she was scared and confused she looked at the box in her hands there was a note. The note on the box said sit down and close your eyes. She did so a few minutes later she heard soft music and a soft voice that sounded like Johns say

" Open your eyes" there in front of her was John he was on his knees and hold open a box with a diamond ring inside

" Stacey I love you so much will you marry me" Stacey's eyes opened wide as she looked down at the ring John takes the ring out box and place it on the tip of her finger waiting for her answer........ " Yes I will" she said pulling him into her arms to kiss him.

The rest of the night they cuddled up by the fire that John had created and enjoyed each other company as they stared into the night sky.

Morning had come they had fallen asleep in each other arms they packed up their stuff and headed home.

They arrived back at John place where breakfast was already waiting for them they sat down and ate in silence then they headed to bed.

Their love making that night was off the hook and they both need the rest.
