Chapter 40 Mark and Stacey Engagement Party

Mark POV.

I finally got Stacey to agree to stay here instead of going back to England. There is so much to do with our engagement party getting closer and Stacey setting up the sister company to TOC.

We have moved into our house and Stacey is expecting our first child.

Her divorce has finally come through and we can officially start planning our engagement party and wedding. I am so happy that I could burst.

Stacey and my parents have been meeting up every weekend since we told them about the engagement. And now that she pregnant it's even more important we hurry up with the wedding as I know she wants to marry before she starts showing to much.

Finally having Stacey here with me in New York is fantastic.
I have never loved someone as much as I love Stacey.

Stacey's POV
I am glad Mark convinced me to stay in New York especially now that I am pregnant with our first child which came as a shock to me.

Since Max left I have managed to get my business up and running and get our home decorated and finished to our taste.

I have sent out the invites for our engagement party and wedding the party is the day after tomorrow and the wedding in three weeks as I am beginning to start showing and I want to get married before my baby bump turns in to a full belly.

I heard that John and Angie our now dating and I am so happy for them I hope this time John can stay faithful.

The day of the party has arrived and I am so excited Mark and I have planned this day to the letter.

We arrived at our venue three hours early to help Maxine and the girls set up the hall as I have become this control freak who wants everything matching and extactly where and how I want it.

But luckily everyone is use to me by now so it doesn't faze them when I go into one of my rants. They just laugh and say " here we go again she on one somebody get her a drink"

I just tend to laugh because they know I can't drink which makes it even more annoying.

It's now 7pm and the guest are starting to arrive so Mark and I slip out to the dressing rooms and get ready shortly after Maxine comes in with hair and make-up and the girls also come to help finish get me ready while Mark goes and greets our guests.

Before long we are all ready and on the dance floor enjoying ourselves.

It was now time for everyone to leave I couldn't believe how fast the night went. But I must admit I was glad as I was extremely tired and my feet ached.

When we arrived home Mark and I went straight to bed as tomorrow we have to be up early and finalizes the rest of the plans for the wedding and also we have our first baby scan.
