A few months went by, and Loona started having a bump from where her stomach was. Blitz was confused about what formed around her stomach. They concluded it wasn't cancer since it didn't exist in Hell. Bret realized what it was, causing his tail to wag rapidly.

"It can't possibly be a baby, right?" Loona frowned.

"I think it's a baby!" Millie exclaimed, "I'm gon' be an auntie!"

"We have to check with a doctor, which would be weird because the baby would be a pup when we look like humans on Earth." Bret thought, "Oh shit! Okay then."

"What?" Loona asked, confused about what he meant, "What is it, Soby?"

"Loona, are you ready to be a parent? Also, did you call me, Soby? My nickname?" Bret laughed, "Come on, Loon. I love you too much for you to call me that. Hehe."

"Wait, we had sex back at the hotel. Oh fuck." Loona gasped, "I don't know about this... Are we sure we're ready to become parents?"

Bret kissed his girlfriend, "Loona, when did I ever doubt you over anything? We have Moxxie and Millie to watch our kid if need be."

"But what if we mess up?" Loona worried.

"We'll figure it out together, Loon. We have each other to lean on." Bret reassured her.

Loona smiled and placed her hand on her stomach. "I can't believe we're going to be parents."

"Slow down. We still have five months to prepare for this child." Bret sat on the couch in the reception area, "We need to figure out the baby's gender, though. Which would be nice."

"If it's a boy, what's the name gon' be when it's born?" Millie asked excitedly.

"Boy, name?" Bret was taken aback, "We haven't thought about names yet..."

"Sorry, Millie gets excited when a baby is in the mix." Moxxie nervously chuckled, "Besides, you'll be great parents. You have my word."

"Thanks, Moxxie." Bret cried, "I don't mean to cry, but I'm happy this is happening, you know?"

Loona stood up and hugged Bret, "I know, babe. I'm happy too. And don't worry. We'll figure out the name together."

Bret wiped his tears and smiled, "Yeah, we will. It's just... a lot to take in, you know?"

"I know, but we'll make it work," Loona reassured him.

"Okay, but seriously, Soby? That's not gon' happen." Bret joked, trying to lighten the mood.

Loona laughed, "Okay, okay. No more Soby."

Everyone in the room laughed, and the atmosphere felt light and joyful. They knew the journey ahead wouldn't be easy, but they were ready to face it together. As they continued to discuss their plans and ideas, they all felt a sense of excitement and anticipation for what was to come. A new chapter in their lives was about to begin, and they were ready to embrace it with open arms.

Loona is sleeping in Bret's bed, napping from her fatigue because of pregnancy. She couldn't resist the relaxing sensation of napping. Bret was on the couch, left to ponder his thoughts on how he would explain everything to his dad, even if he found out to be dead. Bret knew his dad was alive, living on Earth while he was in Hell. Tears formed around his eyes. Everything was difficult for him and his family. He had a massive connection with his dad. He could still do something about it.

"How do I explain I'm technically alive to my father?" Bret sighed, tears rolling down his cheeks, "This won't be easy or fun to do such a thing."

Loona has headphones on, listening to white noise while she naps. The soothing sounds are then interrupted by a quiet knock on the door. Loona can't hear the knocking. Bret knocks again, louder and more audible to her ears. She wakes up cranky even though. She had been napping for a few hours.

Loona groaned, "Five more minutes, please?"

"Loona, what do I do?" Bret wiped his tears, "How do I explain this to my dad?"

"I'm sorry, Bret," Loona said, rubbing her eyes and removing her headphones. "I didn't hear the knocking. What's wrong? What do you need to explain to your dad?"

Bret took a deep breath and explained the situation to Loona. "I need to tell my dad. I'm technically alive. But I'm in Hell," he said. "I don't know how he'll react to that."

Loona listened carefully, thinking about how to help Bret. "Well, maybe you could start by telling him the truth," she suggested. "Explain what happened to you and how you ended up in Hell. Tell him that you're still alive but in a different realm."

Bret nodded slowly, considering Loona's words. "That's a good idea," he said. "But I don't know if he'll believe me. He'll think I'm crazy."

Loona smiled softly. "You never know until you try," she said. "And even if he doesn't believe you at first. You can always try to show him proof. Maybe there's something you can do to prove that you're still alive."

Bret nodded again, feeling a bit better about the situation. "Thanks, Loona," he said. "You always know what to say."

Loona smiled. "Anytime," she said. "Now, let's figure out how to get you out of Hell and back home to your family."

"Loona... You don't get the point." Bret looked at her, "I'm dead because you shoved me off the roof. I'm here because of my mistakes. I don't know how I'm supposed to be here. My dad knows I'm dead! My whole family thinks I'm dead! I'm a fucking hellhound! Sure! I have my human form. But I'm dead, and he is alive."

Loona's expression turned somber as she realized the weight of Bret's situation. "I'm sorry, Bret," she said, her voice filled with remorse. "I didn't realize that's what you meant. I know this must be incredibly difficult for you."

She paused for a moment, thinking carefully about what to say next. "But I still think it's worth trying to talk to your dad," she said. "Even if you can't explain everything, maybe you can tell him you're okay. That you're alive, in a way."

Bret shook his head. "I don't know if I can do that," he said. "It's too much. It's too complicated."

Loona reached out and took Bret's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I understand," she said. "It's okay if you can't do it right away. But please know I'm here for you and will do whatever I can to help you through this."

Bret gave Loona a small smile, grateful for her support. "Thank you, Loona," he said. "I appreciate it more than you know."

A few days later, Bret and Loona are at the hospital for Loona's appointment. Loona sighed as the doctor checked the ultrasound, "Are you ready to find out the baby's gender?"

"Doctor, I'm ready when—" Bret gasped, "You are?"

"Okay then." The doctor smiled, "Congrats, you two. It's a boy!"

"A boy? Can you double-check so we'll remember?" Loona giggled.

The doctor double-checks. Sure enough, it's a boy. Bret silently cries to himself, "Thank you."

"Let's not tell anyone yet, okay?" Loona grips his hand, "This stays between us for now."

Bret nodded, still feeling overwhelmed with emotion. "Of course," he said, squeezing Loona's hand back. "This is our little secret for now."

The doctor finished the appointment, giving Loona some instructions for the remainder of her pregnancy. Bret listened intently, making mental notes of everything he needed to do to take care of: Loona and their baby.

As they left the hospital, Bret couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and excitement for their future. He knew there would be challenges ahead, but he was determined to be the best partner and father he could be.

"Thank you for being here with me, Loona," he said, turning to her with a smile. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Loona smiled back, "I'll always be here for you, Bret. No matter what happens."

Bret took a deep breath. He was feeling grateful for Loona's love and support. "I know," he said. "And I'll always be here for you too."
