Back at the community building, they all sat waiting to hear an explanation for what happened to Reina for the past 16 years and why she left. The Umbrella Academy sat on one side and the Eternals sat on the other with Druig sitting on the chair in the front as Reina leaned against a wall. So much had changed since she left which Diego explained to her. Ben Died, Five ran away. Their father's dead and now the apocalypse is coming.

"So, what happened to you?" Luther asked growing impatient

"When dad sent me on a mission, He lied to everyone, He said I would be eliminating a terrorist threat to the US. He told me the town had no civilians and only the threat remained. So I burned the city to the ground. When I was done, nothing was left. It was only after that I realized he had lied to me about the civilian part and the terrorist part. The only threat that was there was not a threat to the US but a threat to Father's business. They were his competition so he led me to believe I was saving the country but in reality they were just normal people that father wanted gone" Reina's eyes started to tear up at the memory. She was haunted by their screams and the crackling of the growing fire that was untamable by the victim as she smiled believing at the time they were a threat, only to discover that they were innocent people who got on their father's bad side. She was snapped out of her thoughts when someone squeezed her hand. As she looked up she saw Druig giving her a kind and loving smile that was full of sympathy, something she never expected after she told him what she had done. She looked at the rest of the Academy who sat in shock and the Eternals who looked scared.

"That's why you left the night you came back from that mission?" Allison asked, tearing up at the pain she saw her sister in as the picture of that day flashed through Reina's mind like it had for years. Allison thought back to the last day she had seen her sister. She came home from that mission exhausted from the use of energy and refused to speak to anyone, skipping dinner that night. Everyone thought she was asleep only to find her bed empty the next morning with a note saying "I can't do this anymore" left on Reina's bed next to her academy uniform.

"Let's be honest Allison, I never truly did come back from that. That mission changed me forever. I survived but something inside me died that day." She was right. She was never the same after that, her loving heart had turned to stone. Her smile left for so long. She went numb for almost 14 years until she met Druig.

"So how did you end up here?" Five asked with a growing curiosity.

"I traveled the world for a while, I realized I never truly fit in anywhere. I stayed isolated mostly. Until I figured out how to stop the tracker on that necklace, I was moving around every couple of days. Once I stopped the tracker, I decided that a place in the middle of nowhere was the best option. I didn't expect to find this place, I was by the river when Druig found me, I've been here ever since." Reina explained to the 2 groups

"How long have you been here?" Diego questioned

"About 2 years..." She paused, "What happened to you?" She questioned referring to how Five still looked 13.

"A couple of months after you left, I wanted to try time travel, I got stuck in the apocalypse for 45 years." Five explained

"And when you came back you messed up the equations?"

"Yeah, a simple typo"

"So how did the Umbrella Academy and the Eternals end up working together?"

"We both want to stop the end of the world from a god called Surtur and his daughter apparently, Ta Ka" Ikarus responded before anyone else could. Both names sounded vaguely familiar to Reina but she couldn't place them.

"How are we supposed to stop 2 gods?" Reina questioned

"Since they are both fire gods, we thought you could freeze them, or absorb their energy and Druig could put them to sleep," Luther explained. Reina simply scoffed at this.

"My ice is strong but not strong enough to go up against a god let alone 2, and You're asking me to absorb fire energy from 2 strong fire gods that are made up of only fire. I mean is that even possible?" Reina couldn't imagine how much power that would be or even what it would do to her. Could she even take that much energy? Would it kill her? She was lost in thought when she heard one of the Eternals speak.

"I can design something that will allow you to absorb as much power as possible without harming you" Phastos explains. Reina glances over at a Druig who looks nervous. He moved towards her and grabbed her hand, pulling her toward the exit.

"We are going to talk in private for a second" Druig stated as Reina followed close behind him. As they exit and walk off to the right they notice all the Eternals and Academy exiting the building and going in different directions. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was trying to escape my past, I thought that by forgetting I even had powers it would help. My powers have been nothing but a reminder of what I am and what I've done." Reina explained. "I know you're mad. And I should have told you."

"I'm not mad Reina," Druig reassured her as he reached for her hand. He wasn't scared of getting hurt by her, he wasn't scared of her power. "I understand why you wanted to run away from your past, but it wasn't your fault, you were too young to know what you were doing."

"I killed innocent people"

"Because your father used you as a puppet. He used the entire academy as puppets to do his bidding. You were too young to understand. But when you did you left because you are a good person and couldn't do it anymore. You are not a monster." Although Reina didn't believe it she simply nodded. "Do you think you can absorb the power of Surtur and Ta Ka?"

"I don't know, the amount of power from fire that I absorb is limited as a kid, and even if it changed as I got older, 2 fire gods, that's a lot of energy, and if I could, is your power strong enough to beat them both at the same time?"

"I don't know, but I trust Phastos to come up with a way so that neither of us die." Reina's giggle was cut off by hearing a scream. Druig and Reina both looked at each other before running back to the center of the community

"What are those things?" Reina said seeing Ikarus fighting with a beast unlike one she had ever seen.

"Deviants.."
