Chapter 23: Ta Ka

"I'm sorry. What?" Druig gives Reina a curious look with wide eyes either out of surprise or disbelief but either way Reina found it slightly... or extremely amusing as she tried to stifle a laugh but failed.

"I created her. She is a product of my powers."

"So in other words you're Ta Ka's mommy." Klaus laughed.

"That's a... creative way of putting it but in a way I guess I am."

"Reina!" Klaus gasped jokingly, "You never told us you had a daughter."

"I didn't know! Seriously, I got my memory back 20 minutes ago. When would I have told you?" She screamed sarcastically while laughing.

"If you don't mind me asking," Ajak started, "Why did you create Ta Ka in the first place if everything she can do, you can as well?"

"Great," Diego states sarcastically, "We are fighting a thing that was made to fight. We're doomed!"

Riena starts to laugh and when Diego asks what's so funny she lets him know, "Something I never told anyone was that Ta Ka has a spell on her so she can not physically hurt any friends of the crown."

"I... don't know what that means." Ikarus says with a confused look.

"You would if you were smarter." Reina spoke nonchalantly. Ikarus tries to launch himself towards Reina but she reacts quicker and freezes him to the floor. When Ikarus tries to use his laser eyes to melt the ice, he is shocked when nothing happens, causing Reina to start laughing as she turns her attention back to the group. "It means no one I consider a friend, ally, or family can be hurt by Ta ka. The sell prevents it. So All of you are safe from her... except for maybe Ikarus. Any other questions?"

Everyone shakes their head until Allison notices something on Reina's left ring finger. "Reina, Is that ring new?"

Reina holds up her hand and smiles wide at the new engagement ring on her finger, finally realizing she never told either of the families about the engagement. She glanced over at Druig to see a growing smile on his face as he looked at her and grabbed her hand and they turned back to the group. "Me and Druig are engaged" 

"That's... That's amazing Ray." Diego smiled, the use of her childhood nickname made Reina roll her eyes but she hugged him nevertheless.

"That is amazing!" Klaus starts screaming, "We need to start planning the wedding IMMEDIATELY!"

"Still need to fix the end of the world Klaus." Reina laughed.

"Fine! But then the wedding?" Klaus asked hopefully.

"Sure, After that then we can start planning."

"Yay! Are you going to have a traditional Asquardian wedding?" Val questioned.

"Haven't discussed it yet."

"What about...?" Luther started but Reina cut him off.

"Can we please focus on the world ending before we think about the wedding?"

"Fine" All her siblings both adapted and biological said begrudgingly as the Eternals continued to watch in amusement. Despite her frustrations with them forgetting the world was ending because of an engagement, she was happy to know she had all her siblings by her side again and that they were here to support her. She was no longer alone and she adored it.
