Reina turned towards Druig, given him a small smile. One that Druig quickly returned. Reina's eyes shifted to Hela, who hadn't taken her eyes off of Ta Ka. Reina walked over to her sister, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Is it really her again?"
"Only one way to find out."
"What is she attacks?"
"When you were fighting her, did she attack you at all?" Reina's question truly made Hela think through the battle. After a long pause, she finally gave her answer.
"No, She only ever protected herself... yet she never swung back. Why?"
Reina let out a small laugh before answering. "The way I made her, she had an instinct. One that prevented her from hurting any of our siblings, especially you. Despite Surtur's best efforts, she couldn't ignore her instincts."
"She can't hurt me?"
"No, no she can't, nor would she want to." Reina's hand fell of Hela's shoulder, sliding down her arm before taking her hand in hers. Hela's eyes trailed to Ta Ka before glancing back at Reina. "Go, I'm sure she needs some comfort as much as you do."
Reina dropped Hela's hand and Hela started to make her way over to Ta Ka very cautiously. Once Hela got close enough to gain Ta Ka's attention, the god looked at her curious before her eyes flashed with recognition. Her huge mouth formed the outline of a smile as she got down to Hela's level. Hela placed a hand out, lightly touching her nose, causing Ta Ka to lean into her hand. Hela's hand dropped as a smiled formed on her face. A very distinct smile, one that Reina hadn't seen since she was young, one that was filled with childhood joy and wonder. Ta Ka leaned closer to Hela, nudging her slightly and gently with the tip of her nose. Hela jumped to wrap her arms around the god, or at least as far as she could reach around Ta Ka's head.
In the distance, Thor, Loki and Val finally noticed what was happening and made their way over to stand next to Reina.
"It's time Reina." Thor claimed once he got to her side.
"Time for what?" Reina questioned while still watching Hela from a far.
"We have to head back home Reina. Asgard needs it's queen back." Loki explains trying to sound gentle. Reina glances over at Druig worriedly. Val noticed her hesitation and spoke up.
"We'll leave you alone to discuss" Val says quick, practically dragging her brothers away. Reina turned to Druig, about to say something but he interrupted her.
"I understand. You have to go back home." Druig pulls her into a hug, visibly trying his best to hold back tears. "I'll miss you."
The breaking in Druig's voice caused Reina's heart to break. She couldn't just leave him behind, not after everything.
"Come with me." She spoke suddenly. She hadn't had time to think about it, nor did she care too. All she knew was that the castle had enough room, the village had been destroyed by deviants and most importantly, that she loved him and she wasn't going to let anything get in the way. Silence surrounded them and Reina's nerves grew to fill the space their voices has filled. This was big, she knew the extent of what she was asking him to do. Leaving what he had known his whole life behind him...
"Yes."
"Really?"
"Yes, I could do with a change of scenery, and I'm not leaving you anytime soon. So congratulations, your stuck with me." His statement caused Reina to giggle slightly.
"If I'm stuck with anyone, good thing it's you"
